Elle & Co Photography
Rating: 5.0 (17 reviews)
  • Photographer
  • Classic style
  • Starts at $3,200
  • Serves Aspen, CO

I am a luxury destination photographer based in MICHIGAN, COLORADO & FLORIDA! I am ALL over Michigan and all over the nation! I have a home in Lansing, Holland & Traverse City. I travel all over Michigan capturing my clients from Lansing to Grand Rapids to the west coast of Lake Michigan to Mackinac Island & Traverse City to all metro Detroit! I have a second home in Vail/Summit County, CO as well as Clearwater Beach/Tampa. This allows me to be local to multiple places and states! This career is so much more than just showing up and taking photos. It's emotion, it's detail, it's getting to know my clients and capturing each of them uniquely.

Awarded Best of Zola
Wow… I don’t even know where to start, but the stars literally aligned with Dani (and Jed) from Elle & Co Photography. I found Dani while scrolling bridal Facebook groups, which can be… a lot. Trying not to assume the worst from all the horror stories. I came across her and immediately knew she was it. I sent the message and crossed my fingers. Her photos were exactly the vibe we were going for. We chose to elope near Sleeping Bear Dunes for a reason… the color of the water, the fall tones, all of it. And Mother Nature gave us the most imperfectly perfect day. Wind, sand, rain… you name it. THANKFULLY we had Dani to capture it all. The amount of time, energy, and care she put into our day (and our reception back in Indy... we booked her for both) was beyond anything we expected. Her communication was top notch. She scouted, scouted, and then scouted again. Plans, backup plans, backup backup plans… which we absolutely needed. Most importantly she kept us on. time! We literally showed up to our ceremony spot and got hit with a “nope, not today” thanks to a government shutdown… even though we had permits and confirmations. But Dani already had her little hidden gem location ready to go, and it ended up being incredible. Like… better than what we had originally planned. And let’s talk about the conditions… late October on Lake Michigan, 25 mph winds, sand flying everywhere, and easily 10,000 steps trekking through dunes to chase the best views. Dani was everywhere at once making sure we got every shot. And Jed… running through sand like he trained for this moment. The two of them together are the dream team. Whatever it takes, they make it happen. They didn’t miss a single moment. From travel time to the ceremony, to the little in-between shots… even getting the perfect fall leaves shot with the Sleeping Bear Dunes sign (yes, it took a plenty of tries and yes, it was worth it). Champagne, lanterns, sparklers back at the domes… they captured all of it. And gave us just enough direction so we looked our best without ever feeling staged. And even after all of that, Dani went back and edited like crazy to balance out the fact that while we "looked fine"… we were most definitely freezing. The final photos are unreal. Our day was made by friends, family, and chosen family… and we’re so happy to add Dani and Jed to that circle. #PhotosToFriends for life!

Sarah Roshan Wedding Photographers
Rating: 5.0 (15 reviews)
  • Photographer
  • Classic style
  • Starts at $4,200
  • Serves Aspen, CO

We believe... The mountains are the best place to get married. The day is about connection. To each other and to the people you choose to celebrate this union with. Marriage is about love, not gender. In always loving graciously. There are no rules for your wedding. Traditional to non traditional, a wedding is what you make it because of what YOU believe in and how you envision it. There is no right or wrong way to do a wedding. Romance is more about how you see the world than how you see your partner. They just happen to coincide. Marriage is the most epic adventure. In dancing in the rain.

Awarded Best of Zola
We cannot thank Sarah and her team enough for our incredible wedding photos. My husband did the important job of finding Sarah to photograph our engagement in Wash Park, and after working together, we couldn't imagine our wedding day without her! Sarah is wonderful and was easy to work with. She is a fantastic communicator, was proactive in her planning, and was an absolute joy to spend our wedding day with. She went above and beyond on the big day, taking care of all the things you would expect a wedding photographer to manage and so much more. If you're looking for a talented photographer to capture your special day that you'll genuinely enjoy sharing your day with, look no further!

Piney River Ranch
Rating: 5.0 (7 reviews)
Vail, CO
  • Venue
  • Up to 200 guests
  • Select services
  • Outdoor & indoor
  • Starts at $20,000

Piney River Ranch is open and accessible from June 21st through the last Saturday in September, and is one of Colorado’s prime wedding destinations. Beneath the Gore Range, one of Colorado’s most beautiful mountain vistas, we can accommodate up to 200 people in our wedding and event space. With two custom log pavilions, and a ceremony deck that boasts mountain views guaranteed to take your breath away, it’s no wonder couples from all over the country come here to say “I do.” The ranch is complete with six guest cabins, three glamping tents and an on-site restaurant and bar as the perfect place to entertain your guests.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Rustic yet refined style
  • Has a dance floor to dance the night away
  • Both indoor and outdoor options

Venue considerations

  • Best for events with big guest lists
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • On-site parking not available
I wanted to pass on to others our experience using Piney River Ranch as the venue for the marriage of our daughter this past July. Monique and her staff at Piney River Ranch bent over backwards from beginning to the end to help us plan and execute this once-in-a-lifetime event for our daughter. They were always available to answer our questions and to adjust their services to meet our needs. In other words, they provided the kind of personalized customer service that seems to be getting harder and harder to find these days. The result was a virtually perfect wedding day (and rehearsal the prior morning) from beginning to end. Piney River Ranch is located about 12 miles north of Vail at the end of a Forest Service dirt road. While that doesn't sound very far, the road is rough. It takes about 40 minutes to drive that 12 miles from Vail. That results in some logistical challenges but it is well worth the effort and in fact enhances the feeling of arriving at someplace special. It's not until actually arriving at the ranch that the spectacular mountain backdrop rising up behind Piney Lake suddenly reveals itself, and when it does, it virtually overwhelms the senses. I'm not aware of any other venue that combines the kind of jaw-dropping scenery Piney River Ranch possesses with the convenience of having all the facilities needed for a wedding ceremony and reception. I would describe the ranch as having a sort of rustic elegance which exactly fits with the nature of its location. Our wedding was sized at approximately 150 people and the facility was able to comfortably accommodate that number. While it is theoretically possible for the ranch to accommodate up to 200 for weddings, I suspect things will start feeling crowded and the layout will get more challenging if the number gets too much above 150. The ranch has a number of cabins and glam tents along the lake that can be booked. It worked out well for us to utilize one of the cabins as a base for the groom’s party and one of the glam tents for the bride’s party. For smaller weddings, there are a couple of small rooms off of the main reception area that can be utilized for that purpose. Because of the logistical challenge the road to the ranch presents, I would recommend using vendors with previous experience there as they will understand what adjustments they need to make to their operations in order for everything to proceed smoothly. The ranch maintains a list of recommended vendors which proved helpful. In our case, we used Timberline tours for transporting wedding guests from Vail to Piney River Ranch and back. Piney River Ranch works with a local catering company, Cowboy Catering out of Gypsum and the food and service they provided were outstanding. We also utilized Event Rents out of Gypsum for glass water goblets and cloth napkins. In summary, I would highly recommend Piney River Ranch for a wedding. It will provide a unique once-in-a-lifetime type experience for all of your guests, not to mention the bride and groom. I can’t tell you how many people came up to us afterwards to tell us how much they enjoyed it and what an amazing experience it was for them. While the location does present some logistical challenges, Monique and her staff are there to guide you through every step of the process to give you the end result you are looking for.

Julie was perfect for our small wedding, she made us feel very special and was able to communicate our love through out the ceremony to all of our guest. We loved Julie's energy and her ability to capture and put into words our feelings for each other. Freight was the most perfect wedding venue for us. Mostly, I loved the western/ mountain/ country vibe to it, makes it very unique. It’s beautiful inside as well especially with the string lights. The staff was 10/10 amazing. I barely did a single thing on my wedding day, they had everything taken care of from set up to filling leftover food boxes for us. Loved the option to rent so many things through stellar and sage too. The indoor/ outdoor combo was absolutely perfect too. All of our friends/ fam are talking about how cool the venue was still. The cabins are an awesome bonus too to have friends/ fam right on site. Highly recommend!

Rating: 5.0 (5 reviews)
  • Officiant

I love to laugh. I love connecting with people of all ages. And I have a unique outlook on life. I am an avid storyteller and public speaker that enjoys drawing attention to the depth and meaning of life's most special AND most ordinary moments... which is why I absolutely LOVE officiating weddings! Having someone you know perform your wedding? Awesome. Hire me only to provide support and guide them so script creation and stress doesn't fall back on you. Otherwise, it will. I'll write a killer script and coach them so they'll seem like a pro. AND, just let me know your budget so we can work around breaking the bank.

Awarded Best of Zola
Phil was absolutely amazing both as our officiant and pre-marital coach! We had a meeting call with a couple officiants, but we just loved Phil’s energy, intelligence, and zest for love and life! Scheduling and communication were a breeze. He was easy to talk to in our sessions, and gave us good advice that helped us diffuse and resolve conflicts, as well as navigate how to combine our lives. The scripts he wrote were so beautiful, but we were still able to pick our favorite versions and he encouraged us to tweak it as we liked to get everything just right. Working with Phil never felt transactional, like he was just a good friend. He arrived early before our wedding, and it was amazing to have him there as a source of calm and confidence. Even amidst the unexpected, he rolled with the punches with dignity and good humor. I recommend him to all of my friends!

Stargazed Weddings and Events
Rating: 5.0 (5 reviews)
  • Planner
  • Offers 2 services

Jenny's lifelong passion for the arts and all things beautiful has been the thread inspiring and guiding her throughout her professional career. With a background in classical music and a decade-long career in nonprofit fundraising events for performance arts organizations, Jenny translated her love of event production into custom wedding planning services for couples who want to marry in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Along with a flair for logistics, she brings a calm demeanor to each event and interaction. Jenny is a star-gazer, a Cancer, and a helper. Her warm nature draws couples who value a close relationship with their planner.

We booked our wedding venue at The Mollie in Aspen, CO less than six months before our September 2025 date — already a short timeline. We experienced a devastating personal loss shortly after booking, and the wedding planner I had originally hired quit on the spot just one month before our date, having delivered absolutely nothing. I was at rock bottom. The Mollie connected me with Jenny, who had just had an unexpected opening in her schedule. I hired her immediately — and from that moment, she stepped in as my wedding planner and saved my wedding. More than that, honestly, she saved me. With just one month to go, I had only secured the venue, photographer, and my dress. Jenny handled all of the planning from there, top to bottom: vendors, florals, timeline, design, logistics — all of it. And she didn't just execute, she executed *flawlessly*. Her vendor relationships in Aspen are exceptional; she knew exactly who to call and could move fast in a way that would have been impossible without her deep roots in the market and without her highly organized and transparent internal operating process. What had been a chaotic scramble up until that point, she made feel organized and purposeful the entire time. But beyond her skill, what I'll never forget is her presence. Jenny is comforting in a way that is genuinely contagious. During one of the hardest periods of my life, she was a steady, reassuring force. She absorbed the stress so I didn't have to anymore. On my wedding day, I was able to be fully present and that is entirely because of her. Jenny exceeded every expectation I had, under circumstances that would have broken most planners. Stop considering any other planners and hire her without hesitation; she is truly in a league of her own.

Hi I'm Lizzy! I'm a wedding photographer based in the crazy-beautiful mountains of Summit County, Colorado with my husband and daughter. More importantly I am a human being who loves climbing and snowboarding with friends, listening to Stevie Nicks, surfing whenever we can escape from the mountains, eating way too many baked goods, and just being outside with my family.

I hired Lizzy for our private elopement in 2020, and again for our bigger “wedding 2.0” in 2021. She was amazing to work with! The communication beforehand, during, and after was spectacular. She’s got all the tips and tricks to pose you incase you have no idea, and also knows which real moments to capture. I’m obsessed with her editing skills and attention to detail. She tells stories with her photos, and that’s exactly what you want with a wedding photographer.

We’re a couple and creative team crafting alternative, artistic wedding photos and films for adventurous couples. Every wedding is unique, and we capture its real emotions and authenticity. Our goal is to create meaningful, cinematic memories that tell your story exactly as it unfolds.

We were completely speechless when we first watched out wedding photos and video at home. Beyond the incredible work, they were also amazing to work with from start to finish. They were on time, extremely communicative, and clearly set expectations every step of the way. On the wedding day, they were so fun to shoot with and made everything feel easy, not too posed and natural. Thank you both so much for all of your hard work!

I cannot answer emails on this platform, please find me through my website. Intimacy and adventure is what I am all about. I absolutely love couples who are fun, who are real and let it fly. I want to see you! You probably don’t mind if your dress gets dirty. You may be down for a short hike and are not afraid of getting in the water at the end of your elopement. You don’t mind if things don’t go perfectly and that is just perfect. You are my people. THE BEST PARTS OF LIFE ARE THE PARTS THAT SURPRISE US. AND THE BEST PHOTOS ARE USUALLY THE ONES WE DIDN’T KNOW WERE COMING.

I have worked with Liz many years now and her photography services + personality are unmatched. It is so nice to work with a fellow local to the valley who truly knows where to take couples to capture the beauty Vail has to offer. Highly recommended for any and all photography needs!
