When I was old enough to pick up a photo album, I fell in love with photography. Not in the way that most people do…. I was obsessed with seeing the past and freezing it, and not with learning how to shoot a fancy camera and equipment. I did not have a real camera until I went to Photography School. All of my birthday and babysitting money was spent on disposable cameras and developing them at Walmart. You know girl paid extra for that one hour photo. I was and still am amazed that you can freeze time for generations to see. It’s more important to me than ever, now that I have two children to show our family history to.

Wimpy Farms is a family farm venue located in the beautiful north Georgia mountains of Dahlonega Georgia. The farm consists of over 100 acres of beautiful streams, ponds, large hardwoods, and gorgeous fenced pastures. One of the main focal points is our Old Covered Bridge which has been a wedding site for many sweet couples over the years. We have enjoyed letting people get married, do photo shoots, and host events on our farm for years and decided that it was finally time to incorporate this fun aspect of our lives into the rest of our family businesses!
