Hornet Hill flowers officially began in 2024, however I have been creating floral arrangements and bouquets since 2007. I learned the craft from my amazing mother, while watching her create bouquets for family and friends. Our small farm, Hornet Hill, has become my workshop and a place where creativity meets flowers!

I first found a love for baking in middle school after watching The Cake Boss. I figured if he could do it why couldn’t I? After graduating high school in 2012 I immediately attended YTI in Lancaster, PA for Pastry Arts. It was there I was able to study under Susan Notter and her established pastry programs.

I first entered the floral design world as an intern in 2016 and noticed a lack of originality in designs and a need for more connection between the florist and the couple. When I started WFD in 2019, I decided to prioritize both artistic designs and building long-term relationships with each couple. Planning my own wedding in 2021 gave me an even deeper appreciation for the importance of receiving creative expertise and genuine support from wedding vendors.
