I started Amore because I wanted wedding films to feel bigger than a recap. I wanted them to feel like cinema. With a background in commercial and documentary filmmaking, I bring that same passion for storytelling to weddings. For me, it’s not just about filming the day but preserving the emotions, the little moments, and the way it all truly felt. Every couple’s story is unique, and my goal is to create a film that truly feels unique to you.

As the owner and lead planner, I am driven by a deep sense of energy and focus that I bring to work every day. My clients become a part of the Beckerman family whom I wholeheartedly care for. My journey in event planning began 9 years ago after completing my undergraduate degree in event planning and hospitality management, along with a minor in business and law. Later, I earned a master's degree in business and project management, which has helped me to gain a comprehensive understanding of planning.

I love music and I love playing the music everyone else loves. Playing weddings is my favorite type of event because of the diversity of people and couples I welcome to the dance floor through my thoughtful and inclusive play list. I hope you consult with me to learn how I can make this possible.

Since a little girl I found myself always playing and expressing my love for art through makeup. During high school, I started taking clients in my little room. At first, it was just for fun, eventually I started venturing out and traveled to clients in the area. I was then able to get hired at my dream job, Sephora, which was one of the best experiences I've had. In 2022 I opened a studio in Johnston, Rhode Island and eventually joined a wedding team in Newport. I am super excited to showcase my talent in the bridal industry. Making someone feel and look beautiful on their special day has always my dream.

I view the art of photography as a subtractive process, seeing, feeling what is real and making it into my personal vision. I use all tools from modern photography – filters, digital enhancement that include adding artistic effects to images– to try to capture in an image the emotions I felt at the moment the photograph was taken.
