To start, Matt was incredibly communicative and responsive during the initial planning stages, promptly responding to e-mails and joining several Zoom calls leading up to our event. We had a vision for our special day and they accommodated each and every one of our requests. On the day of they arrived early and did the necessary prep work to ensure they were fully situated to provide our guests with the night of a lifetime. They took special care to accommodate our unusual first dance request, song recommendations, and the ambiance we sought to instill. We had a wide array of guests and the overwhelmingly consistent feedback we received was that the band was AMAZING. No exaggeration - the majority of our guests said they were the best band they'd ever experienced. (& I've once been to 13 weddings in a single year) To the point, we had to tell some of them to sit down so we could do parent dances!! People literally could not wait to start dancing/celebrating!! We cannot believe this was our WEDDING!!! & it wouldn't have been the same without Black Diamond Event Production! People are still messaging us to say this was the best wedding they've ever been to! Not only is this team so talented that it is almost out of this world, they are also good people. People you'd want sitting at your table, people you'd want in your corner, and people you will want to keep in touch with forever. DJ Tavo sent us our dinner and reception mixes as they played the night of our wedding almost immediately. Which means we can keep reliving this night!! It was such a sweet surprise. “Booking Cassie to be my wedding coordinator three months out to my wedding day was the best decision I made in the wedding planning process! I really thought I did not want or need a planner/coordinator, but having Cassie there really allowed me to enjoy my wedding. Cassie was diligent, organized, responsive, and patient. Cassie was so on top of every detail and knew all my vendors’ contracts inside and out! I had done lots of research online to make sure I knew every detail going into the wedding planning process, but there were some things I would not have known and Cassie was able to guide me through. For example, one of my vendors insisted an additional hour of rental time needed to be added to the wedding day (that would have cost me hundreds of dollars) and Cassie advocated for me, citing their contract, that it was not necessary. Cassie was also available to help make decisions regarding decor, helping me decide on pieces that best suited and enhanced the venue. I explained my vision of romantic candles everywhere throughout the event. Cassie and I worked together to shape where everything would go to create the seamless look. Cassie (and her assistant Cammie) made everything look stunning on the wedding day - and expertly packed up everything at the end of the night for us. I thought I could have my sister or family friend be in charge of so many of these tasks, but it was *so nice* delegating this out to a professional so that everyone could enjoy the day. “From our engagement photos to our wedding day, Jaffer had us feeling at ease and comfortable. Neither of us likes having our picture taken, but it was very comfortable working with him. Both of our families raved about how fun and easy Jaffer was to work with after the big day, and we loved all of our pictures.
