“The Hook Club was by far the coolest musicians I was able to find in terms of having an NYC night out vibe, and not a typical "wedding" vibe. We had a bass and guitar duo for our cocktail hour. They were super nice and awesome musicians. It started raining an hour into our cocktails so we had to move inside, and the bassist switched to playing a piano so that we could continue the music inside. Everyone was so impressed by how multi-talented they were!! Loved them and wish we had them play music for more of our reception. Dan, the founder, as well as the rest of their staff were incredibly organized and attentive throughout the planning process. Highly recommend!!”

He listened to our music needs, which were not the clearest at times, but nonetheless he came up with a great playlist that fit the diverse age range and what we were envisioning. Just recently a guest from the wedding reached out commenting how Conner was the best wedding DJ they have ever heard. He also did an incredible job micing the night and keeping the pace. “Our experience working with Jamie and Ceremony DJs can be best summed up by the fact that multiple people told us after the ceremony they wanted to book him for their wedding and at least one got his business card! I can't imagine a better DJ, truly. When we first met with Jamie, he said he could make people dance to anything and would keep people on the dance floor all night, and he WAS NOT LYING. The whole night, the dance floor was PACKED even though it was rainy/muddy/cold/wet. Jamie took us on a journey that covered all of the bases of the music we love to hear and dance to, seamlessly and magically (?) integrating genres with the best mixes, it was pure wizardry and really captured who we were. We as a couple care a lot about music and wanted music that represented who we were and what we like to listen to, and he did not disappoint! So much prep work went into this, he took patience and time to try to understand our tastes and vibe, and it was so cool to have the wedding played on vinyl- basically, Jamie just "got it" from start to finish and we had the best time! Our wedding also got delayed due to rain and a road closure and he was such a good sport, staying late to keep us all dancing for a whole other hour- so fun! Also, when our ceremony musician was stuck in traffic due to the storm, he was so prepared and had our prelude/processional music downloaded so we could still walk down the aisle to the songs we'd chosen. Overall, such a cool, kind, funny guy who was professional and prepared in every way and honest just takes time to meet and know his clients, and clearly just loves to share his love of music. Marcus did such an amazing job DJing our wedding, we couldn’t be more thrilled. He is extremely thoughtful with his work. He took careful note of my husband and my musical tastes and preferences, as well as the vibe of our wedding, instead of playing a standard tired playlist. Per our request, he blended in some Latin music seamlessly. The dance floor was full and lively all night long, exactly as we had hoped for! He played songs we hadn’t requested but that we love, leaving me wondering how he could have known so well what to play. He also respected our “do not play” list, as I found out multiple guests requested songs on it and he politely declined. Marcus is very thorough and organized which made working with him so easy- he was on top of all the details, order of events/cues, even reviewed proper name pronunciation with us in advance. “We had AAM Entertainment for our wedding and they were THE best! We’ve been rocking with him for years and attending many weddings that also hired them and couldn’t wait for our turn. Not only the music but the up lights, the mirror booth & dancing on the clouds were a perfect hit. He even took great photos with his own camera. He kept things moving throughout the night and helped us stay on track with our timeline. Following the scheduled dances, he got the party started and knew all of the right songs to play to keep the people on the dance floor. We could not have asked for a better DJ! Also, in the planning process of our wedding, it was so helpful that AAM continued to check in with us to make sure all of our questions were answered. I've been all over the country photographing weddings and Nate is hands down the best I have ever worked with. When I got engaged I knew I had to have Nate be our DJ. We brought him to Kentucky and it was one of the best wedding decisions we made. Your Dj truly sets the tone for your wedding reception and can make or break it. The whole reception went by smoothly and exactly what we had in mind. Our crowd loves to dance and we had 5 hours of open dance floor and he kept the party going the whole time, the dance floor was PACKED! His energy & personality is like no other. “We truly cannot say enough incredible things about DJ Jean! He was absolutely AMAZING and such a huge part of what made our wedding day so unforgettable. From start to finish, he was professional, organized, and so easy to work with. He really took the time to understand our vision, our vibe, and the kind of energy we wanted throughout the night; and he executed it flawlessly. Every single “must play” song we included in our initial questionnaire was played, which meant so much to us. It felt like the soundtrack of us, and everyone could feel that. One of the highlights of the night was when the band came onto the dance floor with drums, trumpet, guitar, and trombone -- and even let us drum in a bit. The energy was unbelievable. And Hava Nagila with a full live band? Unreal. The band/DJ fusion setup made the entire reception feel elevated, unique, and unforgettable. They're truly a one-of-one.
