Alexandre Abdoulaev

Alex Abdoulaev is a musicologist, composer, arranger, and jazz and classical pianist. Alex is currently a Professor of Music Literature at the University of Delaware, and has been a featured speaker at multiple national and international conferences. In addition to various academic pursuits, Alex is an active performer in the Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. areas, having performed with such acts as the Butler Parks Hot Serenaders, Mike Slaps the Bass, the Summit Ridge Drive Hot Five, and Squids of Tomorrow. In 2014, Alex was a featured guest on WGBH’s Under the Radar with Callie Crossley.
