Caprice Strings

Caprice Strings began performing at US Grant Hotel in downtown SD as a featured group to perform for their daily luncheons. Our name was inspired by the asst Mgr. CAPRICE, who would be delighted by our music and gave us special requests. We have performed concerts at the Downtown library, thousands at the Viejas arena for Ashford University & we also provide music for UCSD events. But our true passion is to perform for love!! Caprice Strings performs extensively as a string trio, but can easily form a string duo or quartet. Solo violin is also an option for more intimate gatherings. We are professional and highly trained classical musicians who play across San Diego and Orange County. Our musical styles range from traditional classical, popular standards, to songs currently on the radio. In one weekend, Caprice Strings can be found playing on the lawn at The Lodge at Torrey Pines, the cappella sanctuary at Fairmont Grand Del Mar, and the courtyard at The Prado.
