Founded in 2016 by James Freeborn, Freeborn Designs offers vibrant, distinctive suits, challenging traditional menswear. Partnering with fifth-generation Indian tailors, we've grown into a nationally recognized brand. After impacting music festivals, our first San Francisco store opened in 2021. We prioritize craftsmanship, owning manufacturing equipment including a 60-inch CAD power loom for in-house fabric production and a 12-head embroidery machine for intricate designs. Custom wedding attire is central, providing a full-service experience for entire wedding parties, ensuring unique expression for every celebration.

Our suits are not only different from the status quo but are expertly crafted with fine attention and care. Each suit comes together using a unique brocade fabric that is carefully woven together with 300-year-old antique looms - a traditional process that can only be carried out by master craftspeople in Faridabad, India. Our fine fabric is masterfully pieced together by a team of 5th generation tailors. Our love for style & design is woven into every garment, making each suit so special.
