Petals by The Oak Ridge Homestead provides memorable, custom event florals for intimate weddings, elopements, and celebrations! I, Elizabeth Smith, co-own The Oak Ridge Homestead with my husband, Andrew. We bring a unique, romantic touch to floral design while thoughtfully working with you to fulfill your vision for the day. We accommodate both the hands-off and do-it-yourself brides, offering both à la carte florals and full service packages. Thank you for considering us to be part of your special moments. We can’t wait to create something beautiful with you.

We own and operate a small flower farm in Stanly County and use our own farm-grown flowers for events whenever they are in season! We prioritize using other locally-grown flowers as well in addition to luxury, unique flowers we bring in to create truly unforgettable arrangements.

    Elizabeth from Petals was the absolute best to work with!!! I cannot recommend her and her services enough. I’d give 10 stars if I could! As a 2025 bride, I wanted to keep my budget but I still wanted real flowers. I sat down with her and told her my scattered thoughts and showed her some random inspo pics from Pinterest; she took all of those ideas and put them together even better than I could have ever imagined. Months later, I still look back at my wedding photos and drool over how pretty my flowers turned out. All because of Elizabeth! The arbor pieces, bouquets, corsages/boutineers, and flowers for the tables were all just stunning. I’m so glad I chose this company for my wedding day, and I can’t wait to use them again in the future for other events.

    I recently hosted a large baby shower. Elizabeth was wonderful to work with! She was great to help me focus on a look and style for the party. We decided on several low table arrangements full of white hydrangeas, pink roses, gorgeous white dahlias and other pink flowers too. She created a corsage and a beautiful complimentary large welcome table arrangement. I received so many compliments on the flowers! Everyone wanted to take an arrangement home. I really enjoyed working with Elizabeth. She was kind, punctual and her prices were reasonable. I have since recommended her work to several friends and every one of them has been very glad they chose Elizabeth. I will definitely continue giving Elizabeth and Petals my business!
