I’m Tara Peterson, the heart and floral designer behind this flower farm, nestled in the scenic landscape of Sterling, CT. Specializing in wedding floral design, growing specialty cut wedding flowers, I believe that flowers have the power to transform a space, evoke emotions, and tell a love story.

At Peterson’s Patch, every bloom is selected with care and intention.     Tara brought all of my flower dreams to life! Not only were the flowers, bouquets, and vases gorgeous but when the day had a huge problem arise her and her team stayed to help bring everything to life and solve the problem! I can’t imagine my day without her flowers and her team, The flowers are still topic of discussion all this time later. From the very first time I met Tara, she made us feel like more than just another client and it truly showed until the very end.

    Tara did such a beautiful job on our wedding florals - I seriously can't recommend her enough! She was so great to work with from start to finish. She completely understood our vision, and she created something even more beautiful with her arrangements than I could even imagine. Her beautiful centerpiece arrangements really elevated our guest tables, and I didn't want to let go of my bouquet the entire day. I can't thank her enough for her beautiful work, and how incredibly accommodating she was the week of our wedding.
