We aim to provide the highest quality makeup services in the industry with personalized, on-location artistry. We are fully insured and professionally trained. We travel all of Michigan & beyond to bring you a stress free day.

To secure your date, we require a signed contract, and a 50% non-transferable/non-refundable retainer, which is taken off your total. To ensure seamless planning, we charge a $25 concierge fee to manage contracts, create detailed timelines, and maintain open communication throughout the planning process.

Travel is based on your location and your artist's/stylist's location. For any location under 20 miles, there is a flat $10 travel fee. For anything over 20 miles, the fee is $0.75/mile per artist for any location(s) over 20 miles. The travel fee covers the cost of gas, mileage, and wear and tear on vehicles. Additionally, any ancillary fees such as parking or tolls are also required.

Absolutely - and we highly suggest having one! We offer a package that includes a preview (only available to booked clients) which allows you to preview your look for your big day. We hear this question from so many of our clients and want to assure you that you will look like your best self - whatever that may look like to you! From natural glam to full-on drama, we have you covered. Even if you don't typically wear makeup, we would suggest you have a natural look for your big day! Yes! As long as we have the adequate space we need to be able to provide the services, we will travel to whatever location is most convenient to do services at - the venue, a hotel room, a home, etc. Something to keep in mind is many venues have rules on what time you are allowed to access the space. As long as this works with our timeline then there should be no issues!

We have a studio space located in Lake Orion that can be used for smaller bridal parties. If you are staying at a hotel, we suggest asking about their meeting room/conference spaces as they offer more space and flexibility then a hotel room!

We offer both grooming and complexion-only services for individuals who want to look polished for the big event but do not want a traditional beauty application. We have a blog (https://www.galsandghouls.com/blog/grooming) directed towards grooms but this service is open to everyone and anyone - regardless of gender or event!

Absolutely! We use professional products that are hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic, ensuring they won't irritate sensitive skin. Additionally, we maintain a searchable ingredient list to crossreference specific allergies, guaranteeing that the products used are tailored to your needs and won't cause any adverse reactions.

I couldn’t have been happier with how my makeup turned out—they did an amazing job! I went with a bold look while my sister chose something more natural, and both turned out absolutely beautiful. They even did my 89-year-old grandma’s makeup, and she looked absolutely fantastic. On top of that, there was an unexpected issue with our getting-ready arrangements and I had to change the location last minute. The team handled the change quickly and professionally without any stress. I’m so grateful for their flexibility and talent. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a wonderful makeup team for their special day!

Gals and Ghouls did an absolutely perfect job on my wedding makeup! I don't wear much makeup daily, so I wanted to be glammed up while still looking natural and they did just that. I didn't do a trial, and they still delivered flawlessly! All of my girls looked fabulous too. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

We hired Gals and Ghouls for both hair and makeup. The makeup was absolutely beautiful! It was exactly what we envisioned, lasted all night, and made everyone feel confident and gorgeous. Meghan was such a joy to have around on the wedding morning and truly helped us all feel our best all day. The hair experience, unfortunately, wasn’t as smooth. I had updated my hairstyle vision right before the trial (from half-up to a full updo) but kept the same boho inspiration — loose curls, braids, and soft crisscrossing texture. The trial missed the mark — the stylist didn’t curl my hair and only crimped the roots for volume, which gave more of an unfinished, 80s-style texture than the soft, romantic look I’d hoped for. It felt so incomplete that I didn’t feel comfortable wearing it out afterward. I shared my concerns with the office after the trial and re-sent my inspo photo before the wedding, but unfortunately, the day-of styling still didn’t align with my vision. The stylist ran behind, seemed a bit scattered, and the overall results leaned messy and poofy rather than textured and polished. My mom’s curls fell out within an hour (despite her sharing beforehand that her hair doesn’t hold curl well), so she had to have it redone and sadly missed me getting into my dress and a few special moments. My sister’s hairstyle also turned out very different from her inspo. Although my mother in law and sister’s styles turned out nicely, across the group all the styles had a similar “poof” shape that wasn’t reflective of what we’d shown. The team was kind, and the makeup was truly flawless, but I do wish the hair had reflected our inspiration more closely and felt cohesive and finished for such a special day.

The Gals & Ghouls team was fantastic! I absolutely loved how my hair and makeup turned out on wedding day. Tara was able to perfectly replicate the exact hair style that I wanted and I couldn't have been happier. Dana also did a great job on my makeup, it lasted all day and night! They gave everyone a hair and makeup touch up kit complete with makeup brushes, which we loved. The entire team was super easy to communicate with and organized. On the day of the wedding, they all brought a calm and fun presence, they fit right in chatting with our moms and bridesmaids. I highly recommend Gals & Ghouls for any hair & makeup needs.
