Hi, I’m Carla, a legally authorized wedding officiant based in the Washington D.C. area. I’m all about creating moments that feel genuine and joyful. While I primarily serve the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia, I’m always up for an adventure. I’m passport ready and happy to travel wherever love takes you. For couples coming from out of town, I can help set up your elopement, connect you with trusted local vendors, and guide you through the marriage license process so everything feels smooth and stress-free.

I’m not just here to officiate. I’m here to honor your version of love. Every couple I work with has a different story, and that’s what makes this work so beautiful. I take the time to listen, to learn what matters to you, and to craft a ceremony that feels honest, joyful, and true to who you are. I work with all kinds of couples: spiritual, non-religious, interfaith, LGBTQ+, multicultural. I’ve had the joy of honoring many different traditions and ways of celebrating love. Whether you're blending beliefs or creating your own path, I’ll meet you with openness and care. I also offer bilingual ceremonies in English and Portuguese.

Working with Carla was amazing she set up meetings to get to know us as a couple. Included all of our little corks. Everyone enjoyed the ceremony. Carla is very fun, exciting, friendly great energy that flowed throughout the room. High recommended as your next officiant for your wedding 100% worth it. We had a great experience with Carla.
