How far in advance should we book our photo and video?

We recommend booking your photo and video as soon as possible. Because we’re the exclusive team across our 5 venues and capture around 200 events a year, dates can fill up quickly. In general, most couples book 9-18 months in advance (and even earlier for peak Saturdays), but if your date is coming up sooner, reach out ASAP so we can confirm availability.

How many hours of coverage do we need?

This depends on your wedding day schedule and what matters most to you. Most couples book 7-10 hours to capture everything from getting ready through the main reception events. We’ll help you decide what makes the most sense as you build your timeline.

What is your style/approach?

Accepted Answer

Our style is a mix of guided, polished portraits and real candid moments. Think timeless, flattering images for your families, plus documentary-style storytelling that captures the emotion and in-between moments as they actually happen. We also love to incorporate some editorial shots as well!

Should we have a second photographer?

Accepted Answer

A second photographer is a great way to get fuller coverage of your day. It allows us to capture both partners getting ready, multiple angles during the ceremony, more candid moments during cocktail hour and reception, and it’s especially helpful if you have a larger guest count, travel involved, or you love those in-the-moment candid shots. It adds depth to your gallery and helps tell the full story.

How long will it take to get our photos and video(s)?

You can expect a sneak peek within about 2 weeks. Your full wedding photo gallery is typically delivered in 6-8 weeks. During peak season, delivery can be closer to 8-14 weeks. Video turnaround is usually on a similar timeline.

Can we give you a list of specific photos we want?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We love having a family formal list and any “must capture” people, details, or Epic Studios Welcome and FAQs meaningful moments. We’ll also help you build a timeline so nothing important gets missed. We typically don’t recommend super detailed shot lists for every moment, because it can pull us out of capturing the day naturally, but we’ll absolutely guide and prompt what you need.

Do you offer albums or prints?

Yes. We offer professional albums, prints, and other products so you can enjoy your images beyond the screen. You can order directly from your online gallery through the shopping cart icon, and we can also help with custom album design.

Question 8

How many photos will we receive? Do you provide RAW photos?

Accepted Answer

It depends on your coverage length and guest count, but you can expect a full, well-curated gallery that tells the story of your day. We don’t cap the number of delivered images, we deliver everything that meets our quality standard. We don’t provide RAW/unedited files, since those aren’t a finished representation of our work; we deliver fully edited, high-resolution images in your final gallery.

Will you help us build a timeline?

Yes. We’ll help you plan a photo-friendly timeline and work with your coordinator so the day flows smoothly and you’re not rushed.

What if we’re awkward in front of the camera?

Accepted Answer

Most couples feel that way. We’ll guide you during your formal portrait time with natural prompts so it never feels stiff or overly posed. You’ll be surprised how easy it feels once we get going.
