Javier Mateo

Photography has been part of my life for decades long before weddings and portraits became my focus. I began my career in the 90s in my hometown in Spain, first as a press photographer, then working in studio photography, portraits, and weddings. After moving to Madrid, my career expanded working with publications and fashion, but it was London that changed everything. I became a global photographer, covering fashion weeks in New York, London,& Paris, along with couture, Royal events, and editorial work around the world. In 2009 I made New York City my home, where I continue to live and work today.
