Q: How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?

Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.

Q: Do you work with assistants or other photographers?

All of my packages have a second photographer, assistant, or both.

Q: Will you edit all our pictures?

All the photos I deliver to you will absolutely be edited to fit my style + look. My editing is mainly color corrections and minor adjustments but I will of course get rid of any fly-away hairs or blemishes.

Q: How long will it take to see our pictures?

For couples sessions, I deliver the final gallery within 1–2 weeks. For weddings, the turnaround time is typically 4–6 weeks.

Q: How many pictures will we receive?

This depends on how long I am photographing your day. You can expect about 75-100 edited photos per hour of photographing but keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.

Q: Do you have insurance?

I do! Please let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability and I’ll send that over to them.

Q: What’s your back-up plan if you can’t photograph our wedding as planned?

In my 15 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking thankfully! In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant.

Q: What does film coverage mean?

I'm a hybrid photographer, which means I shoot with both digital and film cameras throughout your day. A lot of the photos you see on my site were taken on real film — 35mm and medium format — which gives your gallery that soft, nostalgic feel you can’t quite replicate digitally. Including film adds something really special to your gallery — you get the best of both worlds. Film does come with extra costs (like materials and lab processing), but it’s all built into my pricing so there are no surprises — just beautiful variety and depth in your final images.

From the moment we spoke to Kam over the phone during out initial consultation, we KNEW we wanted to work with her. She was instantly so kind, attentive, and down to earth. I initially reached out because I loved that she offered different types of film and digital, and I LOVED her candid style. We clicked so well that we decided to not only hire her for our wedding, but also for our engagement shoot (which I strongly recommend doing! It's a perfect way to get to know your photographer before the big day). We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer than Kam for our wedding. From our portraits in Brooklyn to our reception at our favorite restaurant in Manhattan, Kam captured everything so beautifully and effortlessly. Kam shoots both film and digital, which gave us such a perfect mix—romantic, timeless photos alongside really vibrant, true-to-life images. They made us feel super comfortable the whole time, and nothing ever felt awkward or overly posed. Our portraits feel so natural and genuinely us.
