Kimie was the PERFECT wedding photographer for our special day. From the very beginning, Kimie's fun, energetic, and compassionate communication style put us at ease. Her creative approach to capturing our wedding was truly special. Kimie made us feel 100% comfortable and confident in front of the camera, even for someone like me who doesn't typically enjoy having my photo taken. She led with soul and fun, helping us feel like the best versions of ourselves throughout the engagement shoot, courthouse ceremony, and reception. Kimie captured all the moments that mattered most, and we were overjoyed with the beautiful photos she delivered. We could not recommend Kimie James enough! Going to miss all of the quality time, she's an absolute gem!

We hired Kimie James to shoot our very small wedding ceremony at Maymont in August. In the words of my very shy older brother, "Kimie felt like family". Kimie is professional, easy going and is nothing short of magic. She was able to capture every moment so well. Each shot was better than the last. Kimie was even able to get a shot of the 5 flower children, ages 2-8. I don't know how you do what you do but thank you for everything!! Kimie helped to make our day more special than we could have dreamed. She went above and beyond. We adore her!

We absolutely love Kimie! She is super professional and personable and has the best spirit! She knows how to pose you to get that perfect shot. Her engagement session is essential and is utilized to really connect with her couples and you get AMAZING pics too! I mean the photos below speak for themselves!

Kimie James provided an absolutely phenomenal experience for our wedding day. Their communication was prompt and thorough from the very beginning, and we were immediately impressed by their professionalism. On the day of our wedding, Kimie had a great attitude and kept us on schedule, all while making us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. She was the perfect hype person, and truly helped make our day absolutely perfect. Kimie is simply the best, and we cannot recommend her services highly enough.

We were so excited to work with Kimie after seeing her work on Instagram and being referred to her by our wedding planner. She is super sweet and down to earth, and when we had our initial meeting I felt like I'd known her forever, she was that easy to talk to. For someone who has only been focusing on video for a few years (she started with just photography) Kimie is incredibly skilled. She captured all the special moments and made us look like superstars in our own movie (which, let's be honest, is what we all want lol). And what really made us Kimie's #1 fans was that she stayed through the entire reception even though she was only booked until about 8:30pm. She was able to catch the best of the dance party and our exit, which I was originally bummed about not getting video of but was such a nice surprise.
