Sweetspire Photos is a Virginia based photo service run by Shannon Lowe. For over a decade, she’s been capturing intimate weddings and heartfelt ceremonies. She uses a combination of digital and film photography to turn fleeting moments into lasting memories.

My approach is all about comfort and authenticity. I love capturing real moments instead of directing or forcing them. I create an inclusive, affirming space for all couples and proudly work with LGBTQ+ couples.

My fiancé reached out to Shannon for her help with photographing our engagement. Not only was the engagement a surprise to me, but so was Shannon and the gorgeous pictures she took!! I am overjoyed to have these photos to look back on - they are more perfect than I ever could have dreamed up. She was so calm - and let us just be us while she took pictures. I can’t wait for her to photograph our wedding!
