My name is Katie Cole, and I am the Founder/Head Planner at Palmetto River Planning. I have been planning weddings and events since 2021, and decided to establish my own company in Spring of 2024. I am trustworthy, honest, dedicated, and am known for paying close attention to detail. With a passion for this industry, it is my personal goal to make every couple a member of the Palmetto River family and ensure that all our couple's have a worry-free and magical day.

I am dedicated, trust-worthy, pay a great attention to detail, fun, and organized! I am big on great communication and love helping my clients. I truly take the time to get to know all my clients and become part of their family!

Palmetto River Planning was a fantastic choice for our wedding coordinator. From the start, Katie’s communication was straightforward, quick, and to the point - exactly what we needed to keep our planning on track. The quality of her work and value was outstanding - she was easy to work with, detail-oriented, and ensured our day was well-structured. We were really lucky to find them, as we initially didn't realize how important it is to have a coordinator. Katie and her team were incredibly accommodating to our special requests - given I come from a different culture where we do weddings slightly different - and last-minute changes, always present and facilitated well! We're so grateful for the great value and smooth experience Palmetto River Planning provided for our special day.

Hiring Katie was the best decision we made while wedding planning! She was so supportive throughout the planning process and really blew us away with her coordination skills! We had historic snowfall in South Carolina on the day of our wedding, which could have been a disaster. Katie stepped in and handled all of the contingency planning so we didn’t have to worry at all. She made the day so beautiful and well organized even during a serious weather event. Katie made sure we had everything we wanted on our wedding day and even made sure we got to eat dinner at our reception! I have no idea what we would have done without her, and I will tell anyone I know to call Katie first thing when they are planning their wedding or event!

Palmetto River Planning was an amazing vendor to work with! Allyson and Katie were wonderful. Allyson worked with us directly on our event (basically a wedding) and she was so organized, attentive, and helpful. She exceeded our expectations and helped our big day go off without a hitch. She even made my husband and I a plate for dinner! She planned a very detailed document before the event (also had planning meetings with us, etc.) and literally thought of everything. She knew our vision inside and out. She was so good at handling things behind the scenes while we relaxed and enjoyed our big day. Thank you to Palmetto River Planning for everything! Our special day was an amazing day because of you. If you’re a bride looking for the best planning company (also priced very reasonably), these are your girls!

Yes! Palmetto River Planning is a registered business in the State of Georgia and the State of South Carolina. Our planners are certified and we are insured.

We do not charge fees for gas or food within the states of Georgia or South Carolina. However, we will charge a base fee of $150.00 per night for a hotel stay for anything past an 1.5 from our home base.

Yes!! Palmetto River Planning can plan any event from bridal showers, bachelorette parties, engagement parties, birthday parties, rehearsal dinners, baby showers and more.

Depending on the package, you can expect a minimum of 3 consultations. We offer unlimited communication from the time of booking and you are always welcome to reach out with any questions!

Yes, we can take up to 2 events a day depending on availability of our team. We are dedicated to each of our couples and do not wish to take away focus from them by over-booking.

We love a good deal! We are usually always running a sale, so all you need to do is inquire about possible sales. You can also find our promotions on any of our social media pages. We do offer a 5% off discount for military, first-responders, and certain medical professionals year around.

Our clients rave about our attention to detail, quick thinking, and open communication. You can expect Palmetto River to be readily available for any questions you might have, and to be dedicated to making your special day as stress free and magical as possible. With years of wedding planning experience, we enjoy getting to bring our client's vision to life and getting to know each of them personally.
