Sam and the entire Perfect Match Team are out of this world. Calm, reassuring, confident, ever-present, enthusiastic, organized, and thoughtful - just about everything you'd hope for in a wedding planner and team. They really did not miss one detail and always had a backup to a backup to a backup plan in store. Read on to see how they made our day truly perfect. Nothing we did as a couple was simple or straightforward or went without belaboring every decision. As two brides, we had 2x the vision, opinions, taste, etc, and Sam seamlessly helped us navigate the complexities of that situation throughout the entire process. All the while making us both feel seen and heard at every step. Sam acknowledged that our wedding presented a logistical challenge both for our vision and our venue. We hosted a colorful black-tie al-freso dinner party with tropical house music and live sax. Our goal was for everything (ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner) to be outside without coverage (e.g. no tent) which required a rain plan that was more or less a completely different day from a planning perspective (e.g. different locations, layouts, seating charts, timing, rental requirements, etc). To support our dream vision, Sam facilitated detailed communication about both plan A and plan B with every single one of our vendors, removing us from the logistics, while also keeping us involved to the extent that we wanted. Throughout the process, Sam was extremely skillful in managing our expectations, and helping us translate our lofty vision into a reality that we could achieve. She was insanely patient. She never pushed us in a direction, but provided expert guidance that helped us reach a decision on our own. And she found ways to meld both of our visions into a unified aesthetic that resonated for both of us. Sam always leads with kindness in every conversation, connecting with us like humans more so than clients. As two brides, we are grateful and impressed by her thoughtfulness in word choices and overall ability to create an inclusive environment in a traditionally heteronormative industry. Going into the wedding weekend we felt relaxed and confident in the execution of our day because of Sam's hard work, preparation, and communication. And on the wedding day itself, we had FUN working with Sam and her team. They were attentive and truly made us feel like queens for the day.
