I work hard for what I want. And what I want is for you to have an unforgettable event. My number one priority is our clients and I teach our team tirelessly to do just that! I'm THAT planner that's laughing with you at your tastings, dropping F bombs at crazy mom-of-the-bride stories, showing sick dance moves at random moments, and eating your cake on your wedding day because after this, I like to think I am helping my friends get married (plus, I can't resist cake and coffee). Great Wedding Coordinator!
I was very nervous and hesitant about hiring a wedding coordinator. I knew we needed one, but I had heard too many stories about couples spending a lot of money only to feel disappointed. I’m so happy to say that working with Michele was a great decision and I feel very confident recommending her to other couples. For context, we had a 200-person traditional Jewish wedding at a large hotel, with many moving parts and a sizable wedding party. From the very beginning, Michele streamlined the entire planning process and made things feel manageable. She kept us organized, on schedule, and focused. On the wedding day, Michele and her assistant executed everything flawlessly. We didn’t have many DIY elements, but she still ensured that every detail was beautifully set up and that nothing was overlooked. They also packaged everything up super nicely so the clean up was easy the next morning. She communicated clearly and consistently with all of our vendors, handled logistics seamlessly, and was especially responsive as the big day approached. She even came to the venue two days prior to run a full rehearsal with our entire wedding party, which made everyone feel confident and prepared. Although Michele was familiar with Jewish weddings, we incorporated several additional traditions and elements. She took the time to learn every detail so she could help us execute everything exactly as we envisioned. A few days before the wedding, I became very overwhelmed and worried that our day-of timeline was too tight. Michele immediately stepped in, completely reworked the schedule, and communicated the changes to all vendors. She took the stress entirely off my plate and allowed me to actually enjoy the days leading up to our wedding. I am so incredibly grateful to Michele and her team. If you’re on the fence about hiring a coordinator, I wholeheartedly recommend working with her!

Urban Events helped make our special day one to remember! Michele continuously answered all of my questions (big and small) to ensure I felt supported and that my dream wedding would come to life. She had a never ending list of vendors she trust and has experience working with so picking a DJ, location, and food was almost easy! Our reception was handled by one of her amazing staff members who helped make everything run so incredibly smooth. My husband and I didn’t have to worry about helping the DJ set up, tell the bartenders where to go, or even worry about collecting the cards and gifts at the end of the night! We just got to truly enjoy our evening with our loved ones and celebrate saying “I Do” without worrying about the planning pieces! It is absolutely worth having someone in your corner when planning a wedding. We are so thankful we had Urban Events in ours!

don't even know where to begin. If you are hesitant on getting a wedding planner or booking Urban Events, stop looking and just do it! Michele was phenomenal all around! Our wedding was on June 26, 2021. Michele was working with me a year and a half before my big day and I seriously couldn't have done it without her. I struggled staying within our budget and staying sane with all the tasks that needed to get done before I knew Michele. We had bi-weekly check ups to make sure we were on course. She also made me realize there were certain things I didn't need to focus my energy on and I'm glad I didn't. She validated my feelings and understood the stress I was under. And if you take one thing away from this review, please let it be that Michele will have your back completely and will ALWAYS look out for you and your future spouse's best interest. FIVE days before our wedding, our original venue cancelled on us at the last minute. She worked endlessly on helping us find a last minute venue and reaching out to all the vendors to keep them updated. Urban Events has great connections to various vendors that have helped us along the way and will not disappoint. We loved Michele and can't thank her enough for helping us create the wedding we had envisioned even with the chaos that was thrown at us! WE DID IT MICHELE!
