Zenju Weddings and Events of Hawaii, LLC is hands down the reason why we had THE BEST DAY OF OUR LIVES! Yanicke, is the owner of this company and she is hands down the best coordinator! My husband and I hired her to take care of all the stress as we are in California and she is in Honolulu. We booked her and her team to do full coordination for our wedding in Kaneohe, Hawaii. It was one the best decisions we have ever made. We were married at the Paliku Garden at Kualoa Ranch in Kaneohe, Hawaii on June 14, 2023. Almost three years since our wedding and I still cannot believe our dream wedding came to life. I am still on cloud 9 of how beautiful everything was and how smooth everything went. From the first time we spoke with Yanicke, we could tell she was someone who would get it done. I had called Kualoa Ranch to make sure I was able to book her because per the rule of booking Kualoa Ranch, you need a minimum of "day of coordinator". It pleased me to know that she had worked events on the ranch so she did not have to go through an interview process with them. What we loved the most about her is that she actively listened to our wants and our vision for our wedding. She always reassured us that she would work with our budget and not to worry. We would often text, do zoom meetings, and was always available to us. Yanicke made sure to be the contact person for every vendor and made things so easy for us. She gave us vendor options and I appreciated that because I still felt in charge of deciding who to book. The vendors she suggested were so awesome! Every vendor went above and beyond and I am so glad Yanicke had these connections. Our wedding looked amazing and all our guests loved everything about it. There were no issues with any. On the day of the rehearsal, Yanicke went over the setup and how everything was going to play out on the day of the wedding. On the wedding day, Yanicke came to our hotel to check on us and make sure we were up and ready to get the day started. I personally loved that about her because she was very attentive to us. When we arrived at the venue, everything was set to go. It looked so beautiful and dreamy, a dream come true. It looked so elegant and classy. I felt like I was in a dream that whole day because of how surreal it felt. Our wedding should have been featured in a magazine! Our wedding was over the top, in a great way, more than what we had expected. The vendors had surpassed our expectations. From the beginning of the wedding to the end, she was running the event smoothly. I hate planning and having her make sure we were on schedule was so great. The reception included a great buffet, beautiful floral arrangements, an awesome Polynesian performance (fire dancers, hula, the haka dance), a very detailed photographer, and a great DJ and emcee who knew how to get the guests excited. If I were to have another event in Hawaii, I would not hesitate to book Zenju Weddings and Events of Hawaii, LLC again because they made our wedding such a great experience. Definitely recommend to anyone having a destination wedding. She will provide you a list of her preferred vendors that she trusts and they go above and beyond. She will not disappoint. I guarantee! Working with Yanicke was one of the best decisions we made during our entire wedding planning journey. From the very beginning, she brought a sense of calm, clarity, and genuine care that made every step feel manageable and even enjoyable. Her organization is unmatched, her communication is always timely and reassuring, and her attention to detail is truly exceptional. What stood out most was how deeply invested she was in making our day perfect. I don't know where to start. My wedding which started out as a disaster became the best day of my life thanks to Yanicke from Zenju Weddings and Events of Hawaii. I hired a popular and reputable wedding coordinator on island of Oahu before we found Yanicke. We started planning a year ago with a specific coordinator that I will not name. She was not the best communicator and her response time was awful. Two weeks before my wedding we could not get in touch with this coordinator and we arrived to the island from CANADA with my family. Our coordinator was a no show at the rehearsal. I was so traumatised. We booked a lovely estate on the west side of the island. The owner of the estate felt so bad for us, that he provided us a recommendation of his favourite coordinator and said she might be available for last minute clients. He provided us Zenju Weddings and Events of Hawaii contact information. I contacted Yanicke FROM ZENJU WEDDINGS and cried to her and explained our situation. I asked her if she was available in two days. She gladly accepted. Ofcourse we offered to pay her more for taking our wedding last minute. I called other companies and no one would take us on. When I provided her all of our information, she was shocked that our planning looked like a rush job and nothing was completed. I hired her for Day of Coordination, but she had to clean up a complete butcher job from the previous coordinator, that she did way more than the Day of Coordination. She provided a functional lay out, an efficient time line, ordered rentals that was needed for the caterers which we did not have, re-did our entire design. It was not functional at all. Yanicke was in shock with the awful job the previous coordinator did. Yanicke was a god sent. There are still good people in this world. She even showed up at my hotel room in the morning to make sure all the vendors arrived on time, coordinated our first look, and picked up all of the favours from the hotel. Her coordination was the best! She thought of things we did not know, since I am the first one to get married in my family. Her coordination started from the moment we woke up. Her team of helpers were so kind and dressed so professional. They helped us and our guests with everything we needed. Yanicke made our 20,000 wedding look like a 50,000 wedding. She responded to all our emails immediately and kept me sane. My mother cried with joy and so happy we found her! I highly recommend Zenju Weddings!!! They really know what they are doing and you can tell they have been doing this for a long time. Yanicke is not only the co-founder and owner but she felt like my best friend. She is not the coordinator that will tell you what you want to hear with all the corporate BS. She is real and will be very blunt on what not to do and save your day! Our experience planning our destination wedding in Oahu, Hawaii with Yanicke, where we first met and fell in love, was nothing short of a fairytale. As a newly engaged couple living in New Jersey, we had been ideating on whether we should pull the trigger on organizing our wedding in Hawaii - the ultimate destination wedding location - not to mention, one of the most beautiful places on Earth. Just knowing this, we assumed it would be out of our budget, especially given that we were planning a big fat Polish-Indian wedding spanning multiple days, faiths, cultures and more! We began emailing quite a few planners via The Knot and Wedding Wire just to get a feel for what we could except from planning a wedding in Hawaii in general. Beyond worrying about our budget, we were torn on whether we could logistically execute something so elaborate being so far away….until that fateful Monday morning back in 2024, when Yanicke called me out of the blue. She quickly introduced herself, mentioning how she had received our inquiry, and immediately dove into her ideas for our special day. I just loved that she took the initiative to do that, especially given the crazy, 6-hour time difference! She explained how she had worked with a venue that could double as accommodations for us and our immediate family, something we knew would be one of the best ways to actually host and easily organize the wedding weekend of both Indian and Polish wedding festivities. For us, Yanicke REALLY shined when it came to tapping her vast network of vendors and and managing our budget. She advised us on what we should prioritize and invest in, and what we could do without, while still maintaining the overall vision and vibe we wanted to create for ourselves and our guests on the the big day. She was EQUALLY impressive on both our rehearsal and wedding days. She suggested we rehearse not just the Catholic, but the and Hindu ceremony as well, which was so worth it given the many rituals and parent involvement. The timeline she had started putting together months before our wedding, plus the finalized version accounting for vendor arrivals, additional notes and moments we needed to incorporate, was exactly what we envisioned and needed the most, and everyone was locked in and delivered once the big day came. On our wedding day, Yanicke managed every vendor, navigated any delays with grace, and even helped with family drama all while keeping us perfectly on track. We felt supported, celebrated, and completely stress-free with her by our side. Yanicke is a real gem with years of wedding planning wisdom and sharp networking skills that is truly hard to come by these days. She advocates for both her clients and her network, and will make you feel like family from Day 1.
