About this venue
When you get married at Basilica Hudson, you can use the entire building, configured to your vision within any of our multiple spaces — Main Hall, North Hall, West Wing, and outdoor spaces (7,000 square feet indoors; 10,000 square feet outdoors). Basilica Hudson offers ample indoor restrooms and plenty of onsite parking. So why is Basilica Hudson such a unique and special wedding venue? Here are a few reasons why it is: No cut off time (pending NYS regulations), location doesn’t have a noise ordinance Bring in your favorite vendors (we do have preferred caterers, planners and rental companies) Start and End time of the event is up to you Pet friendly venue Large amount of rentals already included in site fee (farm tables, wood folding chairs, stationery and portable bars, bathrooms, lighting)

North Hall
The risers with the Funky chairs is so unique. The projector and screen made our Karaoke After Party one of a kind.
The North Hall is connected through a set of large, rustic double doors on the North end of the Main Hall and is typically set up like a small theater, with 100+ chairs on risers. As architecturally striking as the Main Hall, the North Hall features the same high ceilings, tall windows, brick and tile work. The N. Hall comfortably holds up to 250 people seated and is often the site for wedding ceremonies.

Hudson Riverfront Park
The view is amazing, Hudson River, Large Willow Tree and the Catskill Mountains in the backgroud.
The Hudson Riverfront Park is located right on the banks of the Hudson River. The Large Willow Tree is the perfect backdrop to the ceremony or wedding photos. Views also capture the Catskill Mountains and the Athens Lighthouse. A lush green lawn blankets the perfect area for a natural ceremony.

West Wing
Such a cool copper bar long enough for four bartenders.
The West Wing is accessible via three entrances–from the Main Hall, from outside, from the West Wing Entrance. With slightly lower wood-beamed ceilings, it is a more intimate place for cocktail hour/lounge gatherings and small musical or performance events. We use the West Wing as the bar area during our annual events. The configuration of the room is flexible, but typically the setup includes a long copper bar.

Main Hall
The room is so grand with the most amazing large windows. The natural light that comes into the space is breathtaking.
The grandest of Basilica Hudson’s spaces, the Main Hall is the principal location for wedding receptions, performances, events, film productions and photo shoots. The Main Hall can comfortably hold up to 1100 (standing room) and up to 350 seated for dining. The Main Hall includes plentiful indoor restroom facilities, multiple entrances and a convenient loading dock.

An amazing space for getting ready with my wedding party. Lovely soft furniture, large farm table, fridge, bathroom, and tons of amenities.
The is a large bridal suite for getting ready. Located upstairs it also has a surprise door that can be opened to look at the reception from above. Soft lounge furniture, plenty of natural light, space for hair and makeup, mirrors and so much more.

Still dreaming about it 3 years later!
The Basilica is a one-of-a-kind space. If you are trying to avoid having a cookie-cutter wedding, this is the place for you. The staff has seen this venue set up in MANY different ways and can make anything you imagine come to life. I was really worried about being able to turn a blank space into my dream night but they made it happen easily. I'll never forget the feeling of seeing it all set up for the first time. The best part is that there are zero time restrictions on the space. Which for us, meant an after-party until 3am :)
