About this venue

Cherokee Ranch & Castle features breathtaking views of the Rockies, 3,400 acres of unspoiled land and wildlife sanctuary, and a 1450s Scottish-style Castle with exquisite collections of art and antiques. The pristine property, historic venue and dedicated staff will make your event an enchanting experience, leaving you and your guests with enduring memories. The maximum capacity inside the Castle is 75 guests. During certain months of the year, our Veranda Tent is available and can accomodate up to 150 guests. The Castle is available January through December, and the Veranda Tent is available May through September (October, weather permitting).

    Cherokee Ranch & Castle feels like you’ve stepped into another country and another era the second you drive up. The architecture alone is stunning, but once you walk inside, it gets even better. The interior is layered with history, rich mahogany, intricate details, and rooms that feel dramatic in the best way. Every corner photographs beautifully. The staff was incredibly accommodating and professional throughout the day. Organized, attentive, and kind, which matters more than people realize when timelines are tight and emotions are high. There are endless photo opportunities here. The interior gives you moody, romantic, old world vibes. The grounds open up to sweeping Colorado views. And the rooftop view is an absolute must. The scenery from up there is unreal and gives couples something that feels cinematic and timeless. If you want grandeur, history, and something that genuinely feels different from the typical ballroom venue, this is it. From a photographer’s perspective, it is a dream location.
