What is your peak season?

The wedding reservation season at both Cooley Gardens and Scott Sunken Gardens begins the 1st Saturday in May and ends the 2nd Sunday in October.

Can we bring our own alcohol?

Alcoholic beverages are not allowed.

What’s your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

If a reservation is canceled at least 30 days prior to the date of use, a full refund is granted less a $10 service charge. No refund is granted if there is less than 30 days before the reservation, unless another group reserves and pays for the time slot. There will be no arrangements made for adverse weather conditions. In case of rain during reserved time period, $50 will be refunded.

How many hours are included in our booking?

Accepted Answer

Wedding reservations are only available in two-hour time blocks at a rental fee of $125.00 per two-hour block. A customer may reserve several two-hour blocks back-to-back. But each additional time block is subject to an additional $125.00 fee.

Do you have accessible facilities?

The following amenities are not available at Cooley Gardens or Scott Sunken Gardens: restrooms, electricity, and an on-site caretaker.

What are the Site Rules

Aisle runners may be used, placed immediately before the ceremony and taken up immediately after. There is no seating or chairs to be brought in on lawn areas. No throwing of rice, coins, confetti, bird seed, bubbles, etc. Non amplified music is allowed, such as guitar, flute, or small CD player. Amplified music is not allowed. No active sports or games are permitted in the garden areas. Pets are not allowed in gardens, however service dogs are welcome.

What is Garden Etiquette?

Our plant collections are very important. Please refrain from collecting plants, flowers or labels, climbing on trees and shrubs, and standing or walking in garden beds. Please stay on walkways, where provided. Wedding sites are primarily parks. Weddings should not take precedence or interfere with enjoyment of the park. This reservation guarantees no other weddings have been scheduled for the reserved time slot. It does not guarantee exclusive use of the park.
