About this venue
In 1910, President Taft signed the bill to establish Glacier National Park as the country’s 10th national park. Mr. Healy was given a plumbing contractor for the train depot here in St. Paul, where he met Samuel Bartlett, the architect of many of the railroad depots and Glacier National Park Lodge. Healy then commissioned Bartlett to renovate and enlarge the house. In 1914, the farm was sold to John Healy, the owner of Healy Plumbing and Heating Company of St. Paul. Mr. Healy’s company became closely tied to the Great Northern Railroad, as it provided the heating and plumbing for many of the train depots that were being built around the country at that time. The farm was named Hope Glen Farm, the name of John Healy’s mother’s maiden name of Hope, and the house settles in a Glen, thus Hope Glen.

Hope Glen Farm has a stunning outdoor ceremony site for you and your guests.
Located in the heart of a pasture, our ceremony site is picture perfect. The backdrop is a 700-acre ravine, vineyard, and rustic arbor. Included with the venue rental are ceremony benches, an arbor with a chandelier, shepherd's hooks for the aisle, and sound accommodations (electrical, tables, and chairs).

Historic Hope Glen Farm Barn
This barn is the existing barn from the pre-civil war era.
We have kept some of its unique charm (wooden dowels) as screws from the original build. However, it has been fully renovated with insolation, along with adding heat and air-conditioning to accommodate Minnesota weather. This space is perfect for lively dance and entertainment. Included with the venue rental are dining tables and chairs, dimmable café lights and chandeliers, DJ lighting, and a photo booth.

Our Wonderful Wedding - May 23 2025
Our wedding at Hope Glen was absolutely beautiful. Michael and Paula have done a wonderful job making the property look nice and have great staff. The treehouse was amazing to be able to stay in the night of and we will absolutely be going back sometime. The only thing that came up was the girl who did our morning orientation did a very poor job. She was young and didn't really seem to know what she was talking about, and left us with little to no helpful information day of. There were a few things, such as the hanging basket that she wouldn't have even told us how to do if we didn't ask, which isn't helpful because we don't know the venue like she does. Ultimately, I would absolutely go back if I could! I look forward to reliving the memories everytime I drive by!!

Hope Glen Farm is truly an exceptional wedding venue, and we cannot say enough about the incredible team behind it. From the very beginning, communication with the venue manager, Eryka, was outstanding. She is the definition of professional — organized, responsive, calm under pressure, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. Her guidance made the entire planning process feel seamless and stress-free. The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking. The grounds are beautifully maintained, offering a romantic, storybook setting that feels both elegant and welcoming. One of the highlights was the stunning treehouse where we stayed on our wedding night — complete with a cozy fireplace, jacuzzi, and full kitchen. It was the perfect, private retreat to unwind and soak in the joy of the day. What truly sets Hope Glen Farm apart is the thoughtful layout of the space. Each area — from the ceremony site to cocktail hour to the reception and dance floor — flows effortlessly into the next. Our guests were able to move comfortably throughout the celebration, and everything felt natural and well-paced. The entire property creates an immersive experience rather than just a single event space. The value for what you receive is unmatched. Being able to bring in our own alcohol saved us thousands of dollars without sacrificing quality, and their catering options were phenomenal. Our guests are still talking about how incredible the food was — which says everything. If you’re looking for a venue that combines natural beauty, flexibility, professionalism, and an unforgettable atmosphere, Hope Glen Farm exceeds every expectation. We would choose it again in a heartbeat. Plus it was only 20 minutes from the airport our out of town guests really loved that.
Beautiful venue, wonderful hosts!
Paula and Mike are wonderful hosts who have built a beautiful wedding venue. They are extraordinarily patient and have excellent communication, and can be as involved or hands-off as you want. The venue style means you can have minimal decor or go all-out while still looking tasteful. We were surprised by how many guests loved the multi-building layout and freedom to roam, and got a ton of compliments on the venue. Thank you, Bushillas!
60th Birthday Celebration
Absolutely gorgeous venue and the staff was very pleasant, accommodating and attentive to details. I would highly recommend using this venue for your special occasion
