Main Space

The Main Space was a beautiful space with amazing staff, great food options, and seamless setup. A historic Indy gem with convenient parking.

For your special day, Mavris Arts & Event Center offers both indoor and outdoor locations, three banquet halls, a speakeasy, and a rooftop patio. Outside, the lush garden and tall fence create seclusion and tranquility for ceremonies and cocktail hours. Inside, the event center has three levels of glossy hardwood floors, exposed brick walls, and original beams. The top floor provides the most cavernous space for your celebration and comes with both an East and West Room.

Iron & Ivy is Mavris’ intimate speakeasy-style space, offering a unique and elevated setting perfect for private celebrations, cocktail-style receptions, rehearsal dinners, corporate gatherings, and social events. The space blends historic charm with a moody, refined atmosphere, creating an unforgettable experience for guests.

Description

Our Boutique Wedding Package offers an intimate and elegant celebration with a chef-prepared chicken entrée, two hors d’oeuvres, and a 3-hour standard bar. The experience includes a 6-hour venue rental, on-site ceremony, classic tables and linens, upgraded Chiavari chairs, twinkle lights, and an experienced event designer to assist with planning. In-house audio/visual and complimentary parking are also included for a seamless wedding experience.

We booked with Mavris back in August of 2023 for our June 2025 wedding. Naturally, there was shifts in staffing and our first wedding coordinator was let go. After some time we got assigned a new coordinator; only for her to be let go. After hearing nothing, I reached out and was put in contact with Autumn. After hearing what we had been through she decided she would be our planner, and thank goodness she did! From then on things were smooth sailing, she was responsive, knowledgeable and made sure we had everything we needed. During wedding day I didn’t have to lift a finger, Autumn and the Mavris staff (along with my planner) assembled, set up, and ensured everything I requested for wedding day was exactly how I pictured it. We received so many compliments on the venue, the food, and how smoothly everything went. Even with some of the hassle we went through in the beginning, we would still pick Mavris again and again! Thank you so much to Autumn and Gustavo for making our day amazing.

The Mavris was amazing to work with for our wedding! Alexa was so organized and knowledgeable not only about the venue but weddings in general. Leading up to the wedding we were so confident that things would go smoothly, and if anything went wrong, Alexa would be there to fix it. The venue staff were also incredibly helpful throughout the day. This allowed our family to be able to enjoy the wedding too. Overall we had a great experience at The Mavris and would highly recommend them!!
