Conveniently reached by guests from all parts of North Georgia and the suburbs of Atlanta, The Wheeler House encompasses true southern charm with its meaningfully preserved, yet restored grounds and house. Built in 1906 by John. F. Wheeler, owner of the Wheeler Lumber Yard on Main Street in Ball Ground, the house was constructed with Heart Pine tongue and grove floors, walls, ceilings, and wrap-around porches. The Wheeler House is a historic gem that has been given new life by serving as a wedding venue and special event site.

Beautiful Venue, Great Staff
It was a beautiful event. The Wheeler House is an amazing place to have your wedding. We loved the “all-inclusive” style venue, making the wedding planning process so much better. Our wedding coordinator, Abby, was amazing and made sure the day went as perfect as it can be. Food was great, staff was great, wouldn’t change a thing. Highly recommend!

I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding venue than The Wheeler House!! I had followed this venue for YEARS on instagram and always knew I would be interested in touring. Once we toured the venue and heard about their amazing all inclusive package we booked immediately. Our wedding coordinator was Emma Ray and she was FANTASTIC. She made wedding planning a breeze and was always available to answer any questions I had. I never once felt stressed in the process thanks to her. She was amazing day one and made sure everything was absolutely perfect and just the way I wanted it! Our guests raved about how helpful Emma and all of the staff were, as well as how delicious the food was! We were on a pretty tight budget and this venue was great about allowing us to DIY certain aspects to save money where we needed. I seriously couldn’t dream of a better place to have a wedding!

Get married here!!
The Wheeler house made wedding planning a breeze for me. I did not have to worry about anything that day and everything went smooth thanks to our coordinator, Kelle, and the rest of The Wheeler House staff. I would recommend this venue to everyone, especially if you do not want to stress about vendors because they have most of them in house! That aspect is what drew me to their venue and the beautiful property. Highly recommend!

The Wonderful Wheeler House
I truly cannot imagine getting married anywhere other than The Wheeler House. From the start, they made the planning process feel so smooth and enjoyable, and our wedding day was absolutely beautiful- even with cold and rainy weather, they still made everything feel warm, seamless, and so special. Kelle, our day-of coordinator, was incredible. She handled every detail with so much grace and care - even when little things came up, she took care of everything so we could stay fully present and enjoy the day together. That meant so much to us. Our ceremony and celebration felt so meaningful, and so many of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was. We are beyond grateful for The Wheeler House and the role they played in such a special day in our lives. We would choose them again in a heartbeat.

Our experience with The Wheeler House far exceeding all expectations. The wedding itself was nothing short of magical, but the communication and flow of everything from the wedding planning meetings to the day of was handled so professionally that I truly felt like the only stress free bride in history.
