Whimsical & magical weddings happen here at Wickham Park! It all begins when you enter the 280-acre Park, you immediately leave the day behind as you are immersed in rolling green hills, gorgeous gardens, and two unique venues with different vibes. The rustic log cabin, within a quarter acre of gorgeous gardens with a spectacular skyline view of Hartford an outdoor marquee reception tent; the Cabin at Hilltop Garden. The second venue: The intimate Emerald Room of the Irish Garden~ equally stunning, which is an elegant stone building with cathedral wood ceilings, with its own half-acre stunning garden surrounded by tall Emerald bushes, a 6' stone wall & wrought iron fencing, complete with a private dressing room! Come visit, pictures, although beautiful do NOT do the Park justice!

Wickham Park was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we first spoke with Diana, the event coordinator, we felt welcomed and at ease. She was friendly, warm, and personable, making the planning process so easy. The venue itself is absolutely stunning - charming, rustic, and elegant all at once. Our guests were in awe of the beautiful, romantic setting, and we couldn't have asked for a more picture-perfect backdrop for our special day. We are so grateful to the Wickham Park team for helping make our wedding dreams come true.

The team was amazing to work with. Always communicating what is going on and what will happen next. The day of the weather was terrible rain and winds. Moving everything inside 3 hours before we started messed nothing up.

Pam and everyone at Wickham Park are amazing to work with! We have been catering weddings at Wickham Park for many years and have always been so welcomed by everyone there. The grounds of the park are impeccable and make such a beautiful backdrop for weddings. Pam makes the coordination of the pre wedding planning so easy for not only the Wedding Couple but also for us as the caterer! We highly recommend this venue!

The Emerald Room is $5,250.00 for Fridays & Sundays & $5,750.00 for Saturdays. The Cabin is $6,000.00 for Friday's & Sundays & $6,500.00 for Saturdays.

Exclusive use of the site for an 8-hour time frame. Guidance from the Event Manager throughout, outdoor & indoor furniture for each site, set up and breakdown, vehicle entry fees to the Park and a Venue Manager and Wedding Ranger (not to be confused with a wedding planner.)

Exclusive list of excellent catering and bartending vendors. Contact the caterer(s) and ask if they could provide bar service/supply and linens, stemware and dishware = it is cost effective as well as helpful.

$65.00 up to $200.00 per head - depending on what you chose to have for your reception dinner.

Never more than just yours!

There's no minimum guest count just a maximum of 150 at Cabin at Hilltop Garden site. 98 at Emerald Room of the Irish Garden site.

Yes! but on a leash and not allowed to go inside the building. We strongly suggest an exit plan, after a certain point, they are not enjoying the day.

Both sites, you don't need to do much (they are pretty gorgeous) , but you are welcome to add your own touch, any flames must be enclosed. Rope lighting provided on exterior structures to enjoy the gardens well into the night. Unfortunately flower petals are not allowed, much too much work to remove from the site, (the boxwood bushes are tough to clear).

Only at the Emerald Room, a 10' x 20' lounge with private lavatory, closet, couch, chair, lovely vanity (think pics!), a place to pre-party and to refresh for you and your spouse.

As we are located on 280 acres of woodlands we don't know allow sparklers, fog machines or dry ice. We DO allow paper lanterns!

We assign a Venue Manager to your day who preps the site, cleans before and after and is on hand always in case needed. A park ranger is also assigned for security. Your Event Manager is "with you" from inquiry to the day of and anytime you need her with questions, etc. However, neither are wedding planners

Cabin at Hilltop Garden- back up plan is marrying under the 30' x 60' dining tent with guests at their tables or in front of the fireplace and that depends on how many guests are in attendance. The Emerald Room of the Irish Garden, backup plan is renting our 20' x 30' tent for the Oriental Garden next door for $400 for the outdoor experience or inside in front of your sweetheart table with guests at their tables.
