“Doug is an incredible wedding photographer in the Boston area, and we could not recommend him more highly to capture your special day. A few reasons we were so happy to work with Doug: 1. He is an exceptionally talented photographer. Doug documented all the moments we were hoping for, as well as many beautiful candid shots of us and our guests. Even with tricky weather (rainy day) and last-minute schedule changes (e.g., some family members not coming on time for group photos), he stayed calm and adaptable and delivered a wonderful set of photos that truly captured the emotions of the day. 2. He is skilled at working with people. During our couple and family / friend group portraits he provided just enough guidance to help us feel comfortable without anything feeling staged. This made us feel like we used the time together effectively, while making the photos feel natural and joyful. 3. He is comfortable navigating different cultural and religious contexts. Doug had experience shooting a Catholic wedding, which was tremendously helpful for us, and he was very respectful of our requests (for example, no photography of guests receiving the Eucharist). We also told him about small modifications to the ceremony reflecting South Indian traditions, and he made sure to capture those beautifully. 4. He is a great communicator. Doug was easy to reach via text and email and consistently quick to respond to our questions before and after the wedding. We were planning a low-key wedding on a budget in the Boston area, and Doug’s pricing made it possible for us to capture our day without overspending, while still receiving high-quality, professional photos. “Becky was amazing from start to finish. We got the sapphire package. This was eight hours of photography and videography a full length video and 3-5 sneak peeks within 72 hours of wedding day. The engagement photos went off amazing. We were so excited for our wedding photos. Wedding day came on point. Becky and her team were phenomenal. They did a couple pose shots. They did a lot of candid. We did some nerdy Star Wars themed photos and everywhere I looked. There was a photographer or Mac who is doing a video anytime. “I discovered Randall Garnick Photography back in Fall 2019 when my husband and I were newly engaged and checking out Elm Bank in Wellesley. While discussing services the venue offered, we happened upon a wedding album on a table in the meeting room. As we were flipping through the photos, I was drawn to how beautifully Randy was able to capture this couple in their element. There’s something truly magical about being able to capture candid moments. With what I previewed, I didn’t need to go online to read reviews for Randy to know that I wanted to book him for our wedding. With his warm and inviting personality, working with Randy was truly a delightful experience. We had our engagement photoshoot at deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum, literally a week before the world shut down during the 2020 pandemic. The museum was already shut down to the public, but the sculpture park remained open. Randy really took his time in finding spots in the park to take our shots. But what I loved most about his style and technique was that he didn’t tell us how to pose, as to not create heavily curated photos. Instead, he simply gave us suggestions or a general direction on what we could do, so we had the freedom to act as we pleased and knew Randy would find that perfect candid moment to capture. Our original wedding date was supposed to be in October 2020 but got postponed to October 2021, and Randy was responsive and accommodating to those changes. When our wedding day finally arrived, Randy and his assistant, Wayne, were on their A-game the entire day. They even catered to our silly request in taking photos of us eating our appetizers. Thanks to Randy and Wayne, our wedding day at Elm Bank lives forever through all the beautiful photos that were captured. I can not recommend him enough. Thank you again, Randy and Wayne!”

“Scott and his associate Pat shot photos the day of our wedding and did such a great job of capturing the joy of the day. We did an engagement shoot with Scott prior and it really helped us get comfortable in front of the camera leading up to the wedding, our photos from both sessions came out awesome. Scott was ever present at our reception, seemingly everywhere at once (getting wonderful candids of almost every guest interaction) and also totally unobtrusive and respectful of the time we wanted to spend with our friends and family. “Ashley Wall and her fiancé Donald did a fantastic job all through the wedding process. From the initial engagement photo session through to the actual event, they were the epitome of professional. We didn't have much of a plan on what sort of pictures we wanted from them so she was able to offer options and suggestions that worked out well. They felt like they friends making suggestions rather than a professional directing us. The photos taken were a mix of the conventional and those that felt closer to our own personality. For both the engagement session and wedding, we received a fair number of sneak photos just a few days after the event which was wonderful to be able to share.
