For over 90 years, The Warehouse has been at the center of Eclectic life. Built in 1928 for Lee Hornsby, the property has been in the family since the 1880s. It held commercial activity for cotton merchandising, lumber and hardware for 3 generations. In 1996, Aubrey Hornsby repurposed it as a social/cultural center. Its massive timbers, red brick walls, old-south charm, natural architectural comfort and grassy lawns inspire down-home livability. It has hosted The Alabama Cotton Festival, church/school events, concerts, theater, receptions and parties. Corporations have used it for photo shoots and as a sound stage. We have held over 600 events including 350 weddings. Upholding the historical structure, improvements have been made to ensure comfort and ease.

We are not just a day-of venue—we are a destination designed for unforgettable getaway experiences. Our venue and five luxury lake homes can accommodate up to 60 overnight guests for weekend stays. In our lodge, spacious dressing room with hair and make up stations for 6 and an additional dressing table for the bride and space just especially for the guys inside our event barn with room to hang out and get ready before the ceremony starts. Soirée Event Gallery is a modern wedding venue located in Birmingham, Alabama. Construction on Mistletoe Bough began in 1890 but wasn't completed until 1895. The town banker had the vision to build the grandest home in Alexander City. The River at Club Blanton is a historic venue in Valley, Alabama overlooking the backwaters of the Chattahoochee River. Mathews Manor was built in 1930 and first opened as the Forks Inn Restaurant. It then became a private residence and was purchased by the current owners Debbie & Harold Mathews in 1999. After some remodeling, Rebecca Gardens first opened in 2001 for weddings and special events. Grace Hall was built and opened in 2003 to fulfill the desire to offer space for larger weddings & events. Across the street, Micah's Meadow held its' first wedding in 2009 and offers a peaceful outdoor setting for your ceremony.

Originally built in 1914 by the Free Masons, and served as their meeting place for much of the last century before it was purchased by the current owners, whose mission is to restore historic buildings in Birmingham. Woodrow Hall offers a large foyer and beautiful banquet hall with exposed brick, high ceilings with huge wooden beams as well as modern amenities such as plasma screen TV, LCD projector and modern lighting. This remarkable reception venue is full of unique architecture, character and warmth. It offers a timeless location for parties, reunions, corporate events and training programs. In addition, Woodrow Hall offers very spacious VIP rooms, perfect for bridal parties or event sponsors. “The Magnolia Room”, Woodrow Hall’s event space located on the second floor, is also available for special events, cocktail hour, training programs and other educational functions. Built in 1829, the Gorgas House Museum is the oldest building on the University of Alabama’s campus. It originally served as a dining hall and steward’s residence, and later as a lecture space, post office, and campus hospital. The Gorgas House is one of four main buildings to survive the destruction of campus in 1865 near the end of the Civil War. Now, named for the Gorgas family that occupied the home from 1879-1953, the Museum houses original Gorgas furnishings, memorabilia, and a collection of 19th century artifacts. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1971.

The Cedars is an event venue and vacation home rental that is part of a working cattle farm. Built in 1890 in the Greek Revival Farmhouse style, it still sits in its original location today. Early in 2019, the restoration of the original Nathan Bryan Whitfield, Sr. home began with the vision to return the historic farm home to a public place for sharing its beauty, family history and its agricultural significance with the community and others.By 1890, Dr. Whitfield’s son, Nathan built The Cedars, naming it for a grove of cedar trees that grew between the home and the road, which is now U.S. Highway 80. In April of 2009, Alabama Governor, Bob Riley, and Commissioner of Agriculture, Ron Sparks, designated The Cedars as an Alabama Century Farm. Being recognized as a Century Farm means that the farm has been in operation as a family farm for over 100 years and has played a significant role in Alabama’s history.
