“We couldn't be happier with Marty at our recent wedding! From start to finish, he exceeded our expectations in every way. First and foremost, his attention to detail is amazing -- he noticed a discrepancy between the couple introduction song that we had put in the Vibo app versus what our day of coordinator had on her wedding timeline. He then reached out to the day of coordinator to figure out which song was correct. He also took the time to understand what we were looking for for our cocktail hour and wedding reception. He reached out many times prior to our wedding to check in with us and make sure that all of our questions were answered. It was clear that he genuinely cares about providing a memorable experience. Marty is also flexible. Originally the plan was for our dance floor to be outside. However, due to a heat wave we ended up deciding to move the dance floor inside. Marty was able to easily accommodate this request and he also offered to put speakers outside so guests who were out on the deck would still be able to hear the music. We also recommend going with the up-lighting. He did a great job setting up the lights. The lights actually change colors and really change the vibe of the reception room once the party gets started! The live music he delivered during cocktail hour was a standout of the night. We had so many compliments from guests about his cocktail hour performance. Another aspect that truly set Marty apart was his willingness to go above and beyond. Not only did he do a great job reading the vibe of the room in order to keep the dance floor lively, but at one point he also helped with cleaning up dinner plates. He showed a level of dedication and professionalism that's rare to find. Marty played a crucial role in making our wedding a success. We highly recommend him for any occasion!”

We ended up booking him to provide music for our entire wedding day, from pre-ceremony music (played while guests were arriving and taking their seats) through the ceremony (including microphones for the officiant and groom) through cocktail hour, dinner, special dances and toasts, and the dance party portion of the reception. Joey’s attention to detail, including making sure he knew which specific versions of the songs we requested we wanted to play, and which music lined up with specific points in the schedule of events, was unmatched. Joey’s client portal made it easy to share our music choices for all these different parts of our big day. He was also sensitive to the nuances of a big family gathering: My dad and I don’t have a close relationship, so my mom and I did a mother-daughter dance in place of the traditional father-daughter one. “It was meant to be for us to have Sam be the DJ at our nerdy chic wedding. On a sheer whim, we emailed him when it was clear our original plan of "oh we'll just make a few playlists" was absolutely not going to happen. The app was an awesome way to communicate and my husband and I had a blast sitting down to dig through our Spotify playlists and add songs to it. On the day of, Brian was incredibly attentive, adjusting music when it needed to be and throwing in some of his own flair that made for such a memorable night. Everyone was on the dancefloor having the best time and the mixes/mashups he created were so so good.
