Bringing out true, genuine emotion has always been my goal behind the camera. I love photography because I truly believe that pictures bring back memories. I am terrible at remembering things and a picture always reminds me of the memory: who I was with, what I was doing, and how I felt! (And those fake laughing pictures of myself I look back on just don't work for me.) When i think of what i want from photos of myself - i want my story to be told - and yeah that can sound suuuuper cheesy but its true. i want to be reminded of the smell of freshly cut grass, or how happy i was in that moment. And thats my mission behind every wedding I work.

Hi friend, I'm Katelyn! Thinking back, I really have always loved documenting my life through photos, even if I didn't realize that was what I was doing. It all started with me begging my parents to take me to CVS to grab a Kodak disposable camera, using all the film to take photos of anything I could, getting it developed and creating my own personal photo albums that I still have packed away at my parents home.
