The Local Petaler is a wedding and event floral design studio based in St. Charles, IL. The business started as a part-time venture just over 4 years ago in my mom's garage and quickly blossomed (awful pun) into a full-fledged career. With at least 100 weddings produced under The Local Petaler and countless others worked on as a freelance designer for other companies, I've done a little bit of everything at every venue. Founder and creative force behind Floral Wonders, Eva Kamieniak's life has always been driven by her love of design. From those first drawing classes as a five-year-old to making clothes and furniture for her Barbies, she knew she loved the creative process. The journey that culminated in the opening of Floral Wonders includes interning at a milliner's shop, graduating from Harrington College of Interior Design in Chicago, and hands-on experience in the world of interior design, photography, and fashion.

Marie Pauly is the Owner of Wild Orchid Custom Floral Design and Tim Pauly, her husband is Co-Owner. Right from the beginning Tim and I were inseparable and it was obvious we would be together forever. After marrying in 1980, we moved to the small western suburbs to raise our children and opened “The Wildflower” shop in 1989, which specialized in silk arrangements and gifts. Trends changed and The Wildflower slowly rebranded into Wild Orchid and focused specifically on fresh floral design. From weddings to sympathy arrangements; Wild Orchid grew with referrals and to this day prides itself on satisfied client referrals. I strive to treat each couple as if they were my own family and work to make their big day everything they dreamed of and more. My better-half, Tim, serves as the backbone to Wild Orchid with his behind the scenes dedication to the business. He helps with wedding day logistics to make sure everything arrives en-tact and also creates custom decor elements for various events.
