Hello! My name is Alec and I run Small Batch Films! With a Master's Degree in Business Administration, I never thought I would find my love in wedding videography. I initially picked up a camera as a hobby, and then friends started asking me to do photography for them. Pretty soon I was doing photography for my friend's weddings, and I was hooked. It was such an exhilarating feeling to capture such an important day in the lives of two people in love! But where I really found my love was with the video camera.

We specialize in joyful, authentic wedding videography, capturing couples as they really are. Our favorite moments to capture are honest and unplanned, so we like to step back and film what happens naturally. We are based in West Chester, Pennsylvania. We film most often in Philadelphia, Lancaster, Baltimore, New Jersey and Delaware. We are happy to travel to other locations both near and far.

Hi, I'm Kari Ries, owner and lead videographer of Ries Video Productions. As a young producer for Time Warner in NYC, I shot and edited all of my own news stories. When my husband and I got married in 1994, I edited my own wedding video, creating a story of "us". I realized right then and there that I was most energized by personal and creative videography, and boom, Ries Video Productions was born! My time spent at NBC10 in Philadelphia as a photojournalist is when I refined my storytelling skills. When a great story comes together with creative visuals, compelling narration, and carefully curated music, it's pure magic!
