While their communication was a bit delayed leading up to the event, they were ultimately effective in executing on the day-of. The DJ kept the party going all night with a good song selection, though they did play 3 Taylor Swift songs in a row at the start, which we would have preferred more variety. The MC's ad-libs got a little overbearing at times, but overall they did a nice job sticking to the schedule and making important announcements. We'd recommend HiMotive to other couples looking for an energetic DJ.”

“My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! Motor City HDJ started in 1999 as a way to pay for college. The more of my friends' weddings I attended, the more I realized how many bad DJs are out there in the world. I decided at that point I was going to be the "anti-DJ," committing myself to do the opposite of the things that bad DJs do.

“Brett is such an amazing DJ and we can't recommend him enough! We had Brett for all our music needs for our wedding (ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception).He was a pleasure to work with from the very first meeting we had with him. His planning tools made it so easy to organize and communicate our wants/needs for our day. He had everything handled from setup to timing and we didn’t have to worry about anything. The dance floor was busy from song 1 till the end of the night! He was checking in with my husband and I throughout the evening in case there were any last minute songs we wanted to hear or any requests we hadn’t heard yet. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about his energy and how amazing he was! The dance floor is one of my favorite parts of a wedding and I am so grateful we had Brett as our DJ to help make our dance floor so amazing for our day!”
