“We hired Zach back in April to DJ for our 10th year anniversary party. We bought out a restaurant so we had the celebration split between a cocktail hour, dinner and then dancing after dinner Zach asked us for a list of songs/playlist for our songs, and we gave him 2 sets: One for cocktail hour/dinner and one for the dancing section. The vibes were amazing during the cocktail hour and dinner. My parents personally loved some of their very own favorites playing as we were all chatting and having dinner. Once the dinner service ended, music transitioned into Disco/Salsa/Merengue and it was great to see our friends jumping from their chairs and into the dance floor. We’ve heard nothing but great compliments from friends and family on the music and vibes through the night and the great pickup during the happy hour! “Drew and his team really helped make our backyard Miami wedding the party of our dreams! He was extremely professional throughout the process of pre-wedding and day-of coordination. The pre-planning was easy through the vibo app and meetings with drew in which he took the time to understand our setup, ensuring everything he needed was in order, and how we wanted everything to flow in advance. Drew was masterful at keeping the party going in a way that matched our vibe (and was far from some of the cheesier party DJs out there). He helped all our different events throughout the evening flow well, including the ceremony audio setup, our intro and first dance, speeches, and all the specific party requests following. He was super personable and authentic, handling the job of MC expertly and catering to our tastes extremely well. We had quite a variety of genres we wanted to represent throughout the evening (oldies, indie/alternative, 90s throwback, eurodance, city pop, rap, traditional dances, Turkish, Latin, etc.) and he wove them all together seamlessly. He even added in some surprises for us that we really enjoyed (and can't wait to see photos of)! Many of us ended the night in the pool and he even kept the party going through that to the sounds of Queen and the Strokes. He even orchestrated and filmed a group dive into the pool. “Jorge from Sound Event DJs played at 2 of our son’s weddings and was absolutely fantastic, and we were fortunate to get him for my husband’s 70th birthday party. It’s now been a week, and our guests are still talking about the great music and DJ. Although we had chosen songs to play on Sound Event DJ’s easy planning website, only a good DJ knows which ones to actually play and when to play them. Jorge totally read the crowd, understood their culture (mainly Caribbean) and knew the timing…when to play the fast songs and slow ones, and when to mix them up to keep everyone on the dance floor. He also noted which songs brought back a lot of memories for us and made sure he played them. Kids, young people, old, and single filled the dance floor for every song throughout the night. Arturo did an amazing job at coordinating all of our services and offered the best advice while choosing and finalizing our services. Arturo made the nightmare situation of us having to postpone our wedding during the pandemic seem extremely easy to handle and he comforted us while doing so. When we were finally able to have our wedding this past weekend Nate, our videographer, was early, professional, fun, and he went above and beyond what he was supposed to do. Nate recorded us AND took pictures of us using a member of the bridal party’s cell phone so we could have immediate pictures of us while waiting for the professional ones to be finished. Who does that?! Apparently Nate does lol. The up-lighting and photo booth services were the best! Our up-lighting was exactly as we wanted it and the photo booth operator was extremely nice and provided a wonderful experience for all of the guests and made sure that we had their pictures forever in our guest book and on a flash drive. Last but definitely not least, DJ DEVINE. OUTSTANDING. PHENOMENAL. I am a type A person, an audiophile, and big music fan. When I tell you I provided DJ Devine a playlist for the different sections of the wedding and was nervous to see how he would execute because I thought that only I could do it to my liking. DJ Devine surpassed even how I would have done things. He made sure that I felt comfortable with him a week before the wedding and on the day of our wedding he approached me with a calm and cool demeanor and made me feel that I was in great hands. Not only did DJ Devine play music, he led our party, he led some dances, and HE SANG “Thinking out loud” by Ed Sheeran! When we first heard the song play we said, “this is an interesting version of the song to play,” only to see DJ Devine killing it with his vocals! He played songs that I didn’t have on my playlists that were amazing and had me thinking why didn’t I think of those lol. He made sure our wedding was nonstop fun and that everyone left it all out on the dance floor.
