My husband and I initially reached out to her because she had photographed weddings at our original venue, and we were completely sold after looking through her portfolio. Her moody, emotional, and intimate photos were exactly what we envisioned. We are not “cookie-cutter” wedding photo people, and with every set of photos we reviewed, we found ourselves literally gasping. “A few things that stood out the most about Isaac were how responsive he was, how he was able to accommodate to our budget, and how he took pictures from angles and views that turned out great on the photos. As a couple with demanding careers, I much appreciated how quickly Isaac was with replying to emails. We had a pretty tight budget, and Isaac was able to offer us a package that landed pretty close to our budget and only had the items that we needed the most (mini engagement photoshoot for the website and wedding day). Our ask for him was to get some candid shots as we feel pretty awkward in front of the camera. I personally think that the wedding day pictures came out more naturally because of the setting being surrounded with friends and families, and Isaac and Sushen did a great job capturing the candid moments beautifully. Isaac even had an idea for me to pose by climbing up a wooden stair ladder for a shot that I honestly wasn't sure how it was going to turn out while doing it, but it ended up turning out beautiful and magazine-like in addition to other ones that he asked us to pose for. Isaac put together a behind the scenes video that also showed the reactions of guests to our photo place cards before we had entered the reception area, and this was lovely in that we got to see our guests' reactions that we weren't able to see.”

We were so impressed by how quick the photos were delivered! We received a text while on our honeymoon the week after our wedding that our edited photos were done and one week later we received all our pictures! You don’t hear that often from photography companies! We also watched our wedding video trailer today (which was delivered in less than 2 months from our wedding) and can’t stop watching it! “Working with Kandid Art was overall a great experience! They showed up on time and made sure we got all the shots we wanted. Though the wedding ran a bit behind, they were flexible. The photos turned out beautiful, and they got creative with the locations given the cold, rainy weather. They even got some funny shots of the kids at the wedding that are some of my favorites! The video was also good, although I don't love that they had to use like stock music for the background (I guess it's because of copyright issues with other songs?). I wish they would have included audio of the vows rather than the cheers of the attendees, so make sure you ask them to do that if you want it! I do love that they provided us with all the raw video footage though, as some of the most special moments didn't make the highlight video. Due to the event running behind, the cost increased a bit (which I was asked about after the wedding) due to the 2 photographers needing to split up to cover the shots. I wish they had asked me or the Wedding Coordinator about that on the day of so we could understand better what was the issue, but it was a minor thing in terms of communication. Overall 8/10 rating and would recommend.”

“Rob was sooo amazing! Long story short, we hired him for our wedding but we ended up moving our states wedding to destination. We asked if we can put our deposit towards an engagement shoot instead. He did such an amazing job and he was so prepared day of. He bought his equipment and even a DRONE!! We went to two locations, the American Museum of Natural History and the Castle on the Upper West side of Central Park. He let us be us but also posed us. We felt at ease and taken care of.
