My partner and I used Carolina Flowers for our wedding with DIY florals and you should to!! It was easy as pie to book online, even having to reschedule because of Helene. Pickup was a breeze and all of the flowers were so gosh darn gorgeous. I am so, so happy that we were able to have in-season marigolds and dahlias and all sorts of blooms to match our mountainous, fall backdrop. Because of our small, casual wedding I was able to spend the morning putting together bud vases and bouquets with my loved ones the morning of our celebration and it was such a lovely activity to do - and kept my nervous hands busy!

Freckled Petal LLC
Rating: 5.0 (4 reviews)
  • Starts at $2,450
  • Serves Etowah, NC

Our team provides eco-conscious floral services and candle decor for events. We recognize that not one single style of floral is beautiful to everyone, and we truly enjoy creating various styles, especially the one that fits the client! We buy local as much as possible and are always on the hunt for sustainably grown beauties. We chase the best of the season, often delighting in the underused and less-seen pod, fruiting branch, and oddity. During our region's non-growing season, we source from what is available to us from around the world, always keeping the mindset of the least ecological footprint option first.

Shannon is phenomenal! We used her services for our wedding in December 2020 and she blew us away with the amazing flowers and greenery - everything looked perfect. The cake table decorations were awesome and the arbor bouquets were stunning and included the most beautiful mix of flowers. We could not believe how wonderfully everything came together. Her added touches were so perfect for our intimate wedding! She was also great with communication and helping us stay within our budget. We highly recommend Freckled Petal!

Dream Events by Daria
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
  • Serves Etowah, NC

Dream Events by Daria specializes in floral design in the greater Asheville area, while also being available for destination locations. Our designs are influenced by the local environment and the inner beauty of each person. Every bouquet and event design is unique and in each one is a harmony of life, joy, and timeless elegance. Our team is here to ensure your upcoming event is dreamy, excellent and stress free.

I am still in awe when I look at pictures or think about the floral pieces that Daria created. My husband and I had a very small (total of 8 people including him and I) wedding. As a result I honestly thought we’d just get a small bouquet and a boutonniere and call it a day. No! Daria went above and beyond with my wedding planner (Mom) and we had an amazing array of flowers for the cake, the dinner table, the altar area of the small private room the ceremony was in, and the bouquets were phenomenal. She sent a mood board/color palette idea beforehand and I could not have hand-picked things myself to match the aesthetic I was picturing the way she did. Stunning. Worth every penny and every petal!

The Velvet Poppy
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
  • Starts at $3,500

Congratulations on this exciting journey that you are embarking on! Ahhh, wedding planning! :) I have to tell you that I’m so excited that you’re here, friend. The Velvet Poppy provides couples getting married in the Asheville & Hendersonville, NC area with fresh and gorgeous floral designs and details to make your wedding day swoon worthy. Designed with so much love, so much gratitude, and of course, good vibes. To compliment your yummy floral designs, we love to incorporate plant-dyed silk or velvet ribbon, vintage brass and glass pieces, and of course, candle light (cue the romantic vibes).

Kelsey was one of my favorite parts of our wedding. Her creativity, encouragement, and enthusiasm kept me motivated throughout wedding planning. Everyone was amazed by her hard work and talent. Her florals made the day! I am so moved every time I think of the florals she created for us - each piece was thoughtful and gorgeous. Her talent and careful attention to my wants/needs/dreams was evident in each arrangement. If you are fortunate enough to work with Kelsey, know that your investment is worth every penny and know that you should have a plan in place for preserving her beautiful work! Kelsey is talented, passionate, and determined. I still cannot believe everything she accomplished throughout the wedding day. She arrived early to create the most gorgeous ceremony setting and stayed late to transform those designs several times over - from the reception arrangements, to special ones placed in each hotel room of our guests on premise. It was such a joy to have those flowers with me in the days to follow the wedding. I loved that they were local, as fresh as possible, and completely unique. I’ve never seen flowers like the ones in my bouquet. I’m so thankful for Kelsey’s support and patience as I planned and made up my mind about what I wanted, and I thank her for going above and beyond on her delivery. I did not have a wedding party in effort to keep my wedding small, but having her support was comparable to that of a supportive bridesmaid. So grateful again for her kindness and efforts all the way through.

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (78 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Etowah, NC

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

We were on a strict budget for our wedding. I knew that florals would be the best way to save on some of the huge wedding costs. I found out about Flower Moxie from googling where I would get wholesale flowers. I was immediately hooked once I saw the flower options, tutorials, and worksheets to help plan out my special day. I am very big on organization, and this website had resources for every step of the way. I found the perfect combination of flowers for my boho wedding. I ordered the flowers about 2 months before our big day. It was a destination wedding, so I was checking into our airbnb on the day the flowers were arriving. I had them scheduled to be delivered at the Fedex holding center near by. I thought the company only used Fedex shipping based on my research. I went into full panic mode when I saw the flowers had been shipped by UPS. I immediately called UPS and Fedex, and to be honest I was stunned at the behavior on the other side of the phone. The flowers were still in transit, and no one would help me with rerouting. I called Flower Moxie to see if they could change things on their side as they were the sender. Luis answered the phone and it felt like I finally had someone looking out for me. I had already spent 4 hours on the phone with the shipping companies and gotten nowhere. Luis said he was on it and not to worry. I ordered enough flowers for 18 centerpieces, 70 bud vases, 8 bouquets, and 1 flower arch. Needless to say, it was quite the ordeal to reroute everything. Over the next 48 hours, Luis kept in constant contact with me about the progress of the shipment. I know I was on the phone for at least 6 hours with this ordeal, and I wouldn't be surprised if he had spent about 15 hours talking to UPS, Fedex, florists, and customs to get me my flowers. He made me feel calm and taken care of. Everyone was coming to me with questions and concerns the entire wedding week, and I can't express how it felt to have someone have my back, and take an extremely big tasks off my plate. I would absolutely recommend this company for DIY brides. And I hope this review is seen by Flower Moxie to highlight an outstanding employee with excellent customer service. In an age when it takes time and multiple attempts in order to talk to a person on the phone, I am so appreciative of the effort that was given by Luis for my wedding day. He made me feel like it was an important event for him too. Thank you Luis for making my wedding dreams come true! My sister also mentioned you in her MOH wedding speech. We were all impressed :)

Sofya was so great to work with! She was responsive, kind, and executed the vision I had for my wedding beautifully. What really stood out, though, was how flexible and supportive she was when everything unexpectedly changed. My original venue canceled our wedding, and I was completely panicking, trying to replan everything. Sofya not only reassured me that she’d still be there, she actually jumped in to help, even recommending a few vendors (including the venue I ended up choosing!). She stuck by me through a full change of venue and wedding date, and handled it so well. Her flowers were stunning, and I’m grateful for her calm presence during such a stressful time. I definitely recommend hiring Sofya, you won’t regret it!

Our florist was truly one of my favorite vendors from our entire wedding team. From our very first conversation, she made me feel seen, confident, and completely understood. She listened so thoughtfully to our vision and worked within our budget in a way that never made us feel limited — only excited. One detail that meant so much to me was incorporating feathers into our arrangements — ostrich, peacock, striped coque, silver pheasant, hackle, and goose feathers. She hadn’t worked with feathers before, but instead of hesitating, she was completely open to the assignment. I sourced them myself and shipped them to her ahead of the wedding, and she embraced the vision wholeheartedly. What she created was beyond anything I could have imagined. She perfectly combined the feathers with the florals I loved in a way that felt tasteful, elevated, and in perfect harmony — nothing overwhelming, nothing forced. It was artistic and intentional and somehow even more beautiful than the vision in my head. The arrangements were EXACTLY what I had imagined — and even better in real life. They complemented our venue so effortlessly and elevated the entire atmosphere of the day. It still brings tears to my eyes when I think about my bridal bouquet. She personally delivered it to me while my bridal party and I were taking pictures, and it truly took my breath away. I will never forget that moment. I can’t and won’t ever get over it. If you’re looking for someone creative, collaborative, incredibly talented, and genuinely invested in bringing your vision to life — she is it. I cannot recommend her enough.

Rainey Day Bouquets
Rating: 4.1 (7 reviews)
  • Starts at $1,100
  • Serves Etowah, NC

As I prepare for my own wedding in April of next year, I was taken aback by the exorbitant costs associated with floral arrangements. Quotes ranging from $6,000 to $7,000, with a minimum commitment of $4,000, were simply unfeasible for me. This led me to explore alternative solutions, and I discovered a passion for creating my own florals. I was delighted to find that I had a knack for it! This experience sparked the idea to launch my faux floral rental business, driven by the belief that beautiful wedding florals shouldn't come with an astronomical price tag. My goal is to make stunning arrangements accessible to all.
