Obviously, their style and work is important. But you also need personality, someone that can get you laughing and direct your vision. Vicki and Allan were incredible, and just what we needed. From being open and willing to explore our quirky requests, to capturing the fine details we wouldn't have considered. The two of them made sure our night, and the whole experience, was incredibly memorable and every moment will be kept dear and cherished. Part of booking with them includes an engagement shoot. This was a great opportunity to meet with them in person before the big day, confirm that the vibes on the phone matched those in person; and we also got some lovely pictures that we used on our invitations. On the day, they are with you for the whole experience. They didn’t time the hours they were there, or pester us about going over a time limit. We had them for the whole day and that's what they delivered. From getting ready photos all the way through to the late night bonfire. We also really loved that they work as a team by default. You automatically get two shooters for the day, and they split up as needed to capture both sides of the party. They are married and so in sync, it was very clear they had many years of experience working with each other and in the industry. Our families rave about how our “photographers were perfect in every aspect” and we will wholly be recommending them to any and all of our friends who get married in the future. Our work kicked off together during an engagement shoot at Coney Island. She went above and beyond-driving 5 hours from the Hudson Valley to meet us at our dream location. We spent the night together, and she never made us feel like we were on the clock. Jess is truly so generous with her time. Our wedding day was of course, even more special. Taking photos with my husband, Jess, and her brilliant second shooter were some of the best moments of our day. “Richard Krutick is special. A special talent as well as a special man. He captured it! The day after our wedding he sent me a teaser gallery of what was to come. I was blown away. When planning my wedding the photographer was the most critical to me -I was picky. When I saw his work he turned my entire way of looking at my wedding around. Richard and I had over an hour-long conversation and we clicked. I, having a creative director background and working with photographers all my career, was thrilled because we spoke the same language. “Working with Caitlinn for our wedding was an AMAZING experience. We couldn’t be happier with our photos! I told her from the get go that my fiancé (now husband!) and I never take good photos, but she assured me that our photos would look natural and not overly posed, which is what we wanted. Caitlinn responded promptly to every email and worked with us to create an efficient timeline for our very large family and bridal party. We had four small children in our bridal party and Caitlinn handled them like an expert and got some amazing shots of all of them! She is incredibly organized and best of all, we received a “sneak preview” of our photo gallery one or two days after the wedding, and the entire photo gallery within a week of the wedding! And the pictures, OMG are they beautiful. The hardest part is choosing which photos to put in our album - they are all that good! (But we get to keep the full digital photo gallery which is being displayed on a digital frame). I particularly appreciated how “unobtrusive” her style is - especially during the very emotional moments like our first look - we didn’t “feel” like we were being photographed so we were able to enjoy the moment and act naturally. She captured all of the big moments and the small details too and her artistic eye created beautiful shots of everything from getting ready all the way to the cake cutting and everything in between. Caitlinn is also an incredibly lovely person - her energy carries through in everything she does, and we felt so comfortable from her right from the get go. Truly I can’t say enough about this wonderful photographer and person - she created beautiful memories for us that we will cherish forever.”
