I was matched with Liseth for hair and Andy for makeup, they both are so talented. Throughout the whole process the Updos team was very responsive, communicatIve and easy to work with. Before my trial they gave me opportunity to share inspo pics they could see exactly what I wanted. I sent the pictures and when I went to the trial both Liseth and Andy listened and did a great job. I did make a few changes however, I did love my look and the changes were very minor. On the day of the wedding both Liseth and Andy were on time and they did an awesome job on everyone’s hair and makeup. “Our coordinator at Wyndridge Farms recommended we book Baltimore Event Solutions and specifically request "Korey with a K." After just a few minutes of viewing the photos and videos of gigs he had posted on his Facebook page we knew he was our guy. He reaffirmed this decision during our intro call when the first thing he said to us was, "Just know on your wedding day, I've got you." We instantly knew we were in great hands. Korey exceeded all expectations, from his in-depth phone calls leading up to the wedding to his oozing charisma and passion during the reception. He did a fantastic job of engaging with our guests, friends, and family while also allowing everyone to have their moment to shine. His remixes and overlays of songs drove our crowd nuts, and he perfectly captured our 80s, 90s, and early 2000s interests all night long. “After meeting dozens of photographers, scrolling hundreds of portfolios, and feeling like all wedding photographers were the same, I saw Margarita at a wedding expo booth. Her display photos were nothing I had ever seen from a wedding photographer before...an artistic voice. Scroll her work and you'll be relieved to find someone who captures raw, real emotion and doesn't rely on 50 filters and over saturation in her work. Her prices were incredibly reasonable so we booked her immediately. After talking with us, she suggested we do our engagement shoot at a brewery/arcade which we had never been to and now we go every week! Props to her Baltimore city knowledge and ability to read us to find one of our favorite places that has significant meaning More importantly, when we got our photos back, we were floored. Neither my partner nor I really like our photos taken but we loved the photos and how we looked. She brought out the models in us with such ease because the whole time you work with her it feels like your with a friend who just happens to have a camera. It all felt natural and genuine and you can see it in the photos. The wedding was the same thing - just a laidback feeling between my spouse, Margarita, and me just hanging out. Yes, she can shoot a camera. Yes, she can edit photos. Yes, she can properly read light and stage photos. All necessary skills of a photographer but her real skill is making connections with her clients and capturing genuine emotions and moments. She'll set your mind at ease so you can be present with your partner to enjoy your day then she'll deliver you hundreds of breathtaking photos. Book her, you won't regret it.”
