My passion for floral design began in 2013. I had just moved to Memphis, TN to participate in a sustainable farming program. Working alongside flower farmers, I grew an immense appreciate for the beauty of flowers. For me, designing is like painting with flowers. Working with my clients to see that their vision comes to fruition is very important to me, as I know that planning a wedding can be stressful. Folls' Flowers started in 1999 with the purchase of a 98 acre farm in the Finger Lakes of Central New York. Thea Folls and daughter Heather Walz planted and cared for one acre of flowers to begin and have expanded over the last twenty years to include many different trees, flowering shrubs, perennials, bulbs and annual flowers. We are adding a high tunnel to expand our harvest season in the spring and we are also planting hundreds of new flowering shrubs including hydrangeas, hollies, spirea, pussy willows, and evergreens.

With over a decade of experience in Florals & Design, I aspired to build a company to modernize the industry. During college, I began working as a florist while attending Art School. Afterwards I developed a Set Design Company and worked in Film, TV, Commercials, & Events. I often incorporated my love for Floral Design in my projects. Eventually, I decided to combine my passion of Florals and Spatial Design to create, Ol'Thorn. We provide a different style of design. I shoot for eclectic & immersive experiences.
