She was so professional and easy to work with in the lead-up to the wedding and we were entirely blown away by the final decorations and arrangements the day of. It was easy to book, rent, and send them back. The one downside was that they changed what the collection looked like between when I booked the flowers and when I received them, and there was no option to go back to the original. They changed the bridesmaids’ flowers to be more floral, when I chose the Jane collection due to the greenery. As flowers weren’t specifically important to me, this wasn’t that big of a deal, but it didn’t feel great to not be able to get what we originally wanted and paid for. After reaching out to them about this issue, we did get a 50% discount on the bridesmaid flowers.”

Not only did the call help provide them with our hopes for the day, but it also helped give us a lot of valuable advice and suggestions that we ended up going with. Emily was great in her response, ability to accommodate some last minute changes, and meet our budget. On the day of our wedding, the flowers and foliage EXCEEDED our expectations. The arrangements matched our color scheme perfectly and gave the rich, summer garden vibe I was hoping for... honestly better than I could've imagined. When it comes to the logistics, BBF&FDS were very clear and upfront about costs and order of steps/information needed. They made sure to do their research on the venue's procedures and setup/broke down as scheduled. I definitely suggest using BBF&FDS for your special events! “The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!”

“I’m obsessed with Sasha! She’s a true visionary. I had a vision and I let her run with it and she truly executed it ten fold. I’m a chef and I wanted fruits and vegetables incorporated into my florals. She accomplished this design in the most classy and elegant way. There were mushrooms, kale, radish, gooseberries and so much more and my guests loved it and found it so unique. It was all in a beautiful jewel tone palate and matched the vibe of my wedding venue to the T. The florals that she used were so vibrant and unique as well, there were even hollographic flowers (anthurium) from a specialized flower house. Above and beyond! My bouquet was the prettiest bouquet I’ve ever seen and guests kept on telling me how impressed they were with my florals and how they were so Eva. Sasha captured me so well and my passion for flowers and food. You will not regret working with Sasha, she is a true force, so talented, communicative and caring.”

“Isabelle is so incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and patient; a true artist with their flowers :') I emailed Isabelle to ask about DIY floral arrangements for our June 2025 wedding. We had such a fun time thinking up ways to engage my partner and I's family and friends, and Isabelle came up with the idea for a flower arranging party in their beautiful shop. The day before our wedding, we had our family try their hand at floral design. They had so many questions (ie, "Am I doing this right?" "What kind of flower is THIS?!"), and Isabelle greeted them all with understanding and care. AND there was handmade herbal tea and strong air conditioning on a 95-degree day. “I truly cannot say enough good things about Kya & Floria Design Studio! I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted for florals for our wedding, but I knew I wanted it to be unique and feel like me. I found Kya through an inquiry to another florist - I was in search of a LGBTQ-friendly vendor, preferably a woman as we were hoping for all female vendors. Floria is a queer, black, women owned business which supports LGBTQ & BIPOC communities -- what more could you ask for?! From the minute I met Kya I knew she was perfect for our wedding. She immediately understood my style, the vision, and the fact that we did not want conventional. I shared some inspo photos with Kya, and asked for a range of textures, mediums, & colors. Her proposal was spot on from the first draft, and we even decided to add candles & table decor to our package - which I am SO grateful for because they were stunning. Kya was so kind, easy to communicate with and accommodating of a couple of last minute switch ups. When I saw my bouquet and arrived at the venue to see our arrangements, I couldn't help but cry, I was so overwhelmed with happiness. Kya delivered something that was beyond my wildest dreams - the way she captured every element I wanted SO perfectly while also staying within our budget & honoring our personal style was truly special. From the start, she understood my vision, and we stayed perfectly aligned throughout the planning process. When we began designing the florals, Sonja presented her inspiration board, and to my surprise, it included the exact same image I had independently chosen for my own board—a detail I hadn’t shared with her!
