I first found the Riverhouse searching on Zola. My husband and I spoke with Holly for our initial appointment. Holly had light music playing over the speakers when we arrived, and when I walked into the ballroom and onto the dance floor, I looked at my now husband and said, “This is it, I hope they have a date in 2025 available”. The planning process with Kelley and the team was wonderful! The worksheets that are provided make planning easy and outline all the tasks clearly. We attended their vendor show which helped us determine exactly what we were looking for in our vendors to design our perfect wedding day. Our detail meeting about a month before our wedding day was smooth and we easily made all our banquet choices. A week before our wedding, we met with Holly to ensure our day of timeline was exactly how we wanted it – she totally nailed it day of! We have been to many weddings, and we believed that food was one of the most important parts of our day. We were blown away by the quality (and quantity!) of food at the Riverhouse. At our tasting, my husband and I ranked the appetizer, salad and dinner choices. The rankings were so high, we had trouble narrowing it down! It’s been about 3 weeks, and our guests are still complementing our food and saying how beautiful the venue was. The mac and cheese bar has been a HUGE hit with our guests. On our wedding day, Holly and Loretta kept everything smooth and seamless and both ladies provided a calming atmosphere when things started to feel chaotic (shout out to Loretta for grabbing me tums!). It truly seemed as if all the staff at the Riverhouse enjoyed our wedding event as much as our guests did! The food service was outstanding and went right along with our timeline, our bartenders were flawless, and we totally spied a little bit of dancing going on to our music and we were absolutely overjoyed! We would like to thank everyone at the Riverhouse for making our day amazing! We hope to see you all again sometime soon!

We got married at Lake of Isles in April 2025 and it was truly the best day of our lives! Lake of Isles is a special place and in my opinion, a hidden gem! It checked all of our boxes, I had wanted a water view, my husband wanted a golf course, and great food of course! We planned our wedding for just under 2 years and from the moment we first toured and met Bethany, we knew Lake of Isles was the place for us! We loved the option of having our ceremony on the Lakefront deck, I mean it is just stunning at any time of the year! We also opted to rent out Matches Tavern for our cocktail hour. The food was amazing, and our guests have commented multiple times how much they enjoyed the food! Throughout our planning process, Bethany was there every step of the way, she was always available to answer all of our hundreds of questions and she never made us feel like we had a dumb question. On our wedding day, Bethany and her team had everything covered, I wasn’t stressed or worried and was able to enjoy our day, it was perfect! I wish I could get married at Lake of Isles every year! We could not recommend Lake of Isles more!

We looked at a number of potential sites to hold the NASG annual convention in 2025. The Holiday Inn, Norwich was perfect, very nice rooms, a good amount of function space and excellent staff that did everything possible to insure that our event was fantastic!

She coordinated every detail with so much care, patience, and flexibility. No matter what I needed or how many times I changed my mind, she was right there making everything feel easy and stress-free. I could feel how much she genuinely cared about our day, and that meant the world. The staff the night of our wedding was beyond amazing. Every single person brought such warmth and energy, and the bartenders were absolutely stellar — they kept the party going, kept every guest happy, and did it all with huge smiles. Our friends and family are still talking about how incredible they were. The food and appetizers were delicious, beautifully presented, and exactly what we hoped for. And the s’mores bar? I am so pleased with the welcome party that we parents of the bride and groom were able to host in the Cutter Room at the Hilton Mystic in Mystic, CT! The room was perfect for our party of 120 guests---lots of space to mingle, room for some table seating and some hi tops; we had a bar inside our private party space with room for 2 bartenders to serve our guests; we had finger foods and deserts and a beautiful cheese and cracker tray that was all displayed beautifully and DELICIOUS (I wish I had some of the brownies now!); and the Hilton audiovisual team assisted us in having a screen for our photo slide show and speakers for some music in the background. Rebecca Buttafuoco was our event manager, and she was readily available, helped plan all aspects of our event, and truly made a memorable and fabulous party for all! Thank you Rebecca! I would recommend this venue and our wonderful event manager Rebecca to everyone!

Can't recommend the Haley Mansion enough!!! Besides being absolutely stunning (there are 10,000 amazing places for you and your guests to take pictures), the staff was phenomenal. Joe, Sue, Zac, and Kendra (and others!!) took amazing care of us. I feel like I literally had no thoughts and no stress the day of my wedding because they handled so much. They are so kind, easy-going (but on top of stuff), attentive, and think of everything. The process of booking, planning, etc. was so fun and easy. They are very flexible with the space and let you make everything your own while providing really helpful guidance. It's soooo nice that your guests can stay on site at the Inn and you can have an after party at the Rocks 21 restaurant. Nobody likes a shuttle/uber!! Multiple people told me it was the best organized wedding/after party they've been to. The food is good!! We got a lot of compliments on the food (recommend the lobster bisque!), which I feel is uncommon at a large wedding venue.

We also decided to book our florals through the venue, and that was such a smart choice—the arrangements were stunning and perfectly matched the vibe we wanted, all without the stress of juggling another vendor. A huge shoutout goes to Emily, who was with us every step of the way. She answered countless questions, kept in touch with multiple email check-ins, and made sure every detail was thought of. On the wedding day itself, she was a total rockstar—calm, attentive, and making sure everything ran seamlessly. Even when a light drizzle came through, she and the team handled it effortlessly and kept the energy high. The rest of the staff was equally amazing. Everyone was so professional, kind, and genuinely fun to be around—it made the whole weekend feel so comfortable and celebratory. And of course, the venue itself is absolutely beautiful. We had about 100 guests, and having our ceremony right on the beach was the perfect mix of relaxed and romantic. The setting made for such a special backdrop, and it felt like the true Narragansett beach wedding we always envisioned (even before we realized we wanted a beach club!). We are beyond grateful we chose the Galilee Beach Club. From planning to the final sendoff, the entire experience was flawless. If you’re dreaming of a wedding with amazing food, incredible staff, and the most gorgeous beach setting, this is the place.

As soon as we toured Pinecroft Estate and met with Shelley, my husband and I knew that we had found our venue. Shelley was wonderful in coordinating every last detail, from our decor, to our menu and weekend schedules, she had everything covered. We loved that they had so much decor inventory to choose from that made it easy to personalize our day. Our guests raved about the food, the ambiance, and how beautiful the entire day was. Our bridal party was in such good hands with our day of coordinator Shauna, everything ran smoothly and we were able to be fully present and enjoy our day knowing that they had everything under control. We had our wedding on June 7th 2025 at Lord Thompson Manor. I cannot express enough how you should have your wedding here. Andrew, Jackie, Janice and Ted are top tier. Janice made us feel so special and throughout the day advocated for me. When the rain stopped and i wanted pictures outside, Ted went and got a leaf blower to blow away the rain so that my dress didn’t get wet. I do not say this lightly that they will forever be like family to me. They made the best day of our lives extra special. Our guests are still saying to us they can’t stop thinking about our wedding, that it was magical and the best wedding they’ve ever have ever gone to and I owe that all to Lord Thompson Manor. I will be eternally grateful for the way they made us and our wedding feel extra special. You are making a mistake if you do not book with Lord Thompson Manor.

I honestly forget if I already wrote a review for The Lace Factory, but recently I was reflecting on our wedding day and a few things stuck out that had me so thankful we held our reception at The Lace Factory. From the beginning of the planning process the team is extremely clear and communicative. I love a checklist and theirs is one that ensures nothing will be forgotten. Our guests are still sharing how gorgeous the venue was, how incredible the food spread was, and one detail I was surprised by, from my cousin who has been to their fair share of large celebrations. "The food was not only delicious, but they managed to serve such a large group and the food was actually hot!" This speaks to the well-oiled machine that is The Lace Factory and it must be emphasized that this machine has heart. They accomplished another feat of having my family and I not worry about the severe allergy of my dad, as they adjusted the menu accordingly, without us having to miss out on all the options. This carried over to assist some guests who also had specific dietary needs. I realize this sounds boring, but it is wonderful to know your guests are safe and fed and focus on the celebrating! The Lace Factory is a venue that can transform your wedding into something beyond your dreams while holding true to your vision.

OceanCliff Hotel was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we reached out, the staff, especially Alison and Taylor, were incredibly responsive and great listeners as we planned our special day. The venue itself is open, stunning water views, breath taking sunsets and beautifully appointed with fireplaces that created a warm and cozy atmosphere. We got married last month, January, and our guest could not stop telling us how much they loved the fireplaces and views. I chose this venue because of the fireplace, views, and chandeliers. I scheduled our ceremony during the sun set and it was more than I could have ever expected. The food was amazing, and the entire team worked efficiently to ensure our wedding day went off without a hitch. I did add the clam chowder and clam cakes to our cocktail hour and all the guests have raved about how good the clam cakes were! In my opinion they are better than Iggy’s. Yes, I said that! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting to celebrate our marriage. I highly recommend doing the ceremony and taking pictures during the sunset! We highly recommend OceanCliff Hotel to any couple looking for a stunning backdrop and attentive service for their wedding. Pick this venue now! This is your sign! :)

The best decision was to have our wedding at Georgina’s. From the beginning to the actual day everything was taken care of and Harold went above and beyond. Everything was included from the cake to the table numbers to the reserved signs during the ceremony. Harold kept everything on task and the timing was perfect. I felt so confident during the whole process and he was so easy to work with. All of our guests were taken care of personally by either Harold or the staff. I cannot say enough incredible things about Regatta Place. My (now) husband and I booked the venue without seeing it in person, as we live out of town. They worked around our schedules when visiting, and were extremely communicative throughout the process with us! It poured the entire weekend of our wedding, including the wedding day and they still made the place absolutely stunning. 2 weeks post wedding & Our guests even haven’t stopped telling us how amazing the staff and venue were! They made sure my husband and I were 100% taken care of 100% of the time throughout the night. They kept our food covered until we were ready to eat as it’s easy getting stopped by people greeting you. They made sure we had drinks as we needed them. We had our own space/bathroom to get away to when we needed a breather minute. The entire staff was friendly and again just I don’t know how to put into words how happy I am, and I’m especially grateful for Maggie!! Maggie coordinated EVERYTHING wedding related and even answered all the repetitive questions from family the day before. If I were able to go back knowing the outcome I would book regatta place a million times over again

Having my wedding at the Newport Marriott exceeded my expectations from start to finish. You can't beat the scenic location, unmatched convenience of having accommodations under the same roof to the staff that went above and beyond with every request big or small. I can't express enough how at ease I felt leading up to my wedding working with Rachel who was my events coordinator. Throughout my entire planning process, I could always count on her for a prompt response with answers to any questions I had or resolutions to any new requests and concerns I'd throw her way. Being able to have full trust in Rachel was really the greatest gift I could ask for. She made the process so stress-free and it's worth mentioning she's super sweet and a joy to be around! When I think back on my wedding, I'll always remember how helpful she was and how much that positively impacted the entire experience. Every staff member I worked with was incredibly helpful and pleasant. My guests rang their praises after the big day too. The food and bar service was top notch. I used the house centerpieces that were gorgeous. I hadn't a single worry about everything coming together the way I planned and pictured all because of the staff here. We worked with Chelsea, as our wedding planner/day of coordinator and she was AMAZING! Chelsea made our wedding weekend smooth, easy and stress free. Everything I could possibly need, she had. Everything was organized and beautiful. Chelsea could accommodate anything we needed and had attention to all the details, big and small. Her support staff was also organized, and knew exactly what to do and how to help. There was no question of where to be, when, or what we needed to do. As the bride, there were no issues on my wedding day, as far as I knew. And if there were, I know it is because Chelsea and her team took care of it. They have a golf cart to bring the bride from the hotel to the close outdoor reception place, but it is a nice little ride to ensure you stay clean and don't have to walk. There was champagne to celebrate at the end of the isle after we got married for us and our bridal party. They brought our cocktail hour snacks and drinkswater outside to us to enjoy while doing formal photos so we didn't miss out on anything! The planning stages with Chelsea were easy and coordinated. She had all the questions to ask, and was prepared for anything we could need. We had a few meetings leading up to the wedding where we organized all the finer details to ensure the day went off smoothly. We also had a welcome event and brunch at the venue, and it was great to get multiple different spaces to be able to host those events in a variety of areas within the hotel grounds.
