Hi! My name is Tiffany Rivers, owner of Rivers Event Planning. I have been in the hospitality industry for 15 years. My journey started in culinary school as a young adult and then as an Event Banquet Captain for various catering companies on the Central Coast. My love for serving others lead me to receive a degree in Hospitality Management! I then worked as an Event Coordinator for a private school in San Luis Obispo. 5 years later I decided to start my own company as a Special Event Planner and the rest is history!

Weddings have been a part of my life since I was six years old. Growing up as the youngest of eight cousins, someone was always getting married. The summer of my 21st birthday, I started my career with weddings at an Alaskan lodge hosting ten weddings that first summer. Since then I've worked in floral design, photography, & the food/wine industries. In 2017, I toured California working event logistics at five different festivals, including Coachella.

With years of experience and hundreds of weddings under our belts we’re excited to continue to grow and serve the Central Coast as expert wedding professionals in on-site hair and makeup. With great certainty, Ricardo can say that he is living a life of fulfillment and blessings. He grew up in a small town near Mexicali, Mexico and spent many summers in California visiting his grandparents and family. After completing his education in Business Management in Mexicali, he knew California was where he wanted to come to start a new life. After a lot of hard work, persistence, and dedication, Ricardo learned English and earned a degree in Graphic Arts. After working as a Graphic Designer for 14 years, Ricardo's sense of style and passion for design transitioned seamlessly into the realm of floral and event design.

I grew up on California's Central Coast and obtained a minor in Photography from Cal Poly SLO. My love for photography started in high school and has always been my sole aspiration. As a photographer, I understand that photos hold cherished memories that last a lifetime. Whether it's with family, friends, or loved ones, photos capture precious moments that we can revisit time and time again. I am a lifetime Central Coast resident, born and raised in Templeton. I have spent most of my career in the hospitality industry. It wasn't until I started a job in catering management that I realized I had a passion for weddings. I continued doing catering management for 2 years, and then I started assisting all of my favorite wedding planners for 2 years. Most recently I landed a job in Venue Management and that is when I knew I wanted my own wedding planning business.
