“We booked George to capture our wedding day at an outdoor venue in northern MA. As a photographer myself I have high standards when it comes to photos, so I was very selective when making my choice. But I'm happy to report that we made a great choice with George as his work is top notch.
Before the wedding we had 2 phone calls to plan out the many scenes we'd want him to capture. We also shared some light guidance on editing style, which he happily incorporated. On the day of the wedding George arrived promptly (early even, which was good) despite the fact he was driving many hours from CT.
George did a great job making people feel comfortable in front of the camera. He seemed very experienced as throughout the day he seamlessly transitioned from the foreground to the background as needed. He was never in the way, but always nearby and ready to jump in and capture whatever was happening. He also captured a variety of types of shots, from the wide, establishing shots to the perfectly composed closeups of intimate moments - with lots of extra detail shots and plenty of candids too. For the ceremony in particular, he displayed his great eye and quick reaction time to document every moment and every angle, including crowd reactions.
He came well prepared too with 2 Sony mirrorless cameras and a large off-camera flash to ensure even lighting. From our 8-hour shoot he provided over 1,400 fully edited photos (each 61MP) via a Google Drive download link. We were extremely please with the quality and speed of our portfolio (fully delivered within 2 weeks). On top of that, George happily provided me with the full edited portfolio in TIFF file format, per my request. The file sizes are much larger so I gave him a 512GB USB drive which he loaded and shipped back to me.
