“Mikhail is the best wedding photographer in Miami, and in Florida. We looked at probably hundreds of photographers and portfolios, and when we found Mikhail's profile, we knew that he was the one that we both wanted.
We booked him for a Thursday micro-wedding at Bonnet House with just the bridal party, and planned the entire wedding based on wanting Mikhail and his photographer friend memorialize our wedding. Mikhail gave us recommendations for venues that met our needs and our elopment budget. The entire time, he has given us such attentive, VIP service, that it didn't even feel like we were just having a small 12 people elopment, it felt like we were having the world's most luxurious wedding.
We booked Mikhail for 2.5 hours, and he was flexible with adding more time, got there super early, was very accomodating with our needs, and was RUNNING the entire time, filled with creative ideas. He knew the venue Bonnet House inside and out, and captured the ceremony with multiple cameras. So even though he is only one person, it felt like we had 3 photographers covering the whole event.
He was so incredibly attentive, and was constantly fixing everyone's outfit. He was easy to get along with, and was highly communicative. He spoke to us early and often, and was very easy to get a hold of. We had two video meetings discussing our vision. Mikhail is incredibly hardworking and turned over a long ceremony video and a medium sized highlight within a WEEK!!!!!! Insane.
Mikhail took a huge amount of videos during the short period of time we were there. When one group was getting ready, he would photograph the environment, the other groups, make plans for what to do next etc. He also used multiple cameras and didn't have a moment of rest. When you book Aurora5, it feels like you are booking an entire team for the cost of one person. And ask about Jeanne, Mikhail's photographer! She is absolutely perfect as well.
If you are lucky enough to have Mikhail videographer your wedding, DO IT. Prioritize having him videographer you over any other item, because the memory is so worth it. Booking him and Jeanne was the single best decision we made at our wedding besides choosing the people attending and marrying each other ;) We planned our entire wedding around having him videograph it, and I would do it a thousand times over. It was so much fun, they were great directors of the show, and have endlessly creative ideas of how to capture the magical moment. It doesn't matter if you are camera shy or feel like you look better in person, he can make anyone look and feel incredible.”
