While their communication was a bit delayed leading up to the event, they were ultimately effective in executing on the day-of. The DJ kept the party going all night with a good song selection, though they did play 3 Taylor Swift songs in a row at the start, which we would have preferred more variety. The MC's ad-libs got a little overbearing at times, but overall they did a nice job sticking to the schedule and making important announcements. The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! They played for my son's wedding on September 15, 2025 and we could not have been happier! They were very professional and engaging with the wedding party and guests. They had a special crate with shakers and tambourines for audience participation on the dance floor too! We were able to preview the playlist and select songs that were personal to our special day. Communication was best done via email but text and phone calls were helpful for last minute updates and changes leading up to the wedding date. We had an outdoor farm style wedding and they were more than adequately prepared to play for this type of venue. As a courtesy, we provided an open air tent, beverages and food for the band members as most of them traveled an hour or more to our special event. The cost was very reasonable for our budget as well. I highly recommend you check out their internet webpage or look them up on Facebook. They play venues all over the Cleveland area, so it would be easy for you to catch a live show before booking. Enjoy! We certainly did!”
