When, I was eight, I announced to my parents, “I want to play the harp.” Their wisely cautious response was to give me a year of piano lessons! But once I got my fingers on strings, there was no looking back. Now I own six harps and play professionally for weddings, churches, senior care as well as arranging and recording. I decided the summer before senior year of high school that I wanted to try out a harp lesson, and ever since that day, I haven’t looked back! In my 13 years of study, I have primarily learned from Elizabeth LeBlanc. I also attended two summers at Rocky Mountain Springs Harp Program, where I studied with Kathryn Harms. I have been very fortunate to have wonderful teachers who got me where I am today! Outside of my musical background , my degree is in Early Childhood Education.
