Schaffer Sound Disc Jockeys is a family owned and operated business. Our founder, Ken Schaffer, started the company in 1977 at the ripe old age of fourteen! He started providing DJ entertainment for grade schools and parties and as he grew older demand for his company’s services soared. Soon, those same students he was playing for in school gymnasiums and cafeterias were getting married and many hired his company to perform at their weddings. Ken gradually handed the reins of the company over to the very capable hands of his brothers, Jon and Dave Schaffer.

Dj McVibes found a job at a production/entertainment company where he learned the ins and outs of being a wedding/event dj. From there he started to dj on his own as he became more confident and has done many Weddings/events and still continues. He later also took more courses to learn more about djing such as scratching and live mashups, but also took courses on how to produce his own music. Dj Mcvibes now works with various dj companies and runs his own dj business.

Geoff may look young but he has been performing at events for over 10 years. Geoff started his career in his basement in Ambler PA, with two turntables and a mixer. He then partied his way through the streets of Philadelphia while he got a degree from Temple University in Mass Communications. After he graduated he decided to start a family and DJ company called Party Scene Events. The rest is history.
